Okay this has been driving me crazy.

I remember playing a game at my cousin's house when I was a kid, back in the early 90's. I think it was on some Atari machine, but I'm not sure. If I recall, it had roughly NES-quality graphics. Maybe a little better?

It was a side-scroller. The main thing I remember was that you either had a pet dragon or you were the dragon (I don't remember which). Pretty sure it was green. The dragon would grow as you played (like power-ups on a shmup). It started off as an egg or a baby, then it could power up somehow and become a bigger dragon at least twice.

Does anyone have any idea what this might have been?

Hopefully this thread can help me out a little :(

So I played this older PC title.

Not entirely sure of the year but my guess is before 2000's

Description of the start of the game :

You woke up in the destroyed and plagued town, medieval/horror setting with British speaking characters.
I remember heading near the water and talking to a bird sending me off to save the lands.
There's also a part where you meet a "deformed" unicorn that wants you to help him, he's next to a small amount of water ( assuming contaminated water after the plague ) there's also a cemetery

I know there's skeletons for enemies and there's even this big ghost/knight guy who you must defeat when you go near this building next to a cliff.

the game is third person view and you can enter buildings.

The genre has to be RPG/horror.

It reminds me a lot of a "King Arthur" time...

Hopefully I can get some type of clue... I remember playing baldurs gate around the same time..

I am looking for a game which i played a demo of when i was a kid on pc. I believe it's from early 00s and it's a shoot em up game kinda like galaga but there is progression. It's vertical, and the ship is white if i am not mistaken. You pick up upgrades on the way and i remember particularly one which made my fire slow like bubbles. Thanks in advance.

I can't remember the name of this game. It's really annoying me, any help would be much appriciated.
From what I can remember you could play as a boy only and it was on ps2. You started out in a little village in like Victorian times I think???
Then a circus came to town and you met someone there who tells you some stuff and then you go on an adventure. You end up traveling through a sewer at some point. Later on in the game you had to fight creatures in a forest. In a different area in the forest you had to bring rescued people to it and you had to go back and forward in time and see what changed and I remember there being a big green/brown tree with a single eye.

That's all I can remember, if anyone can tell what this game is it would be very helpful.
Thanks

This game was just some random flash game you could play where you would take over areas of a map. The map never changed and I think all the different areas had different troops or something, I know there were different troops. After you conquered everyone there was aliens or something like that that you then had to defeat. That's all I got I've been trying to find this game for years!

Crimson Warfare sounds like that, don't remember aliens though.

Hey @ all

since a long time im looning for a RPG game that i played on PC some years ago (~ 6-8). But it could be possible that this game ist much older :/

All I remember ist that it had an isomatric perspective like like Diablo and the main character was female.

You play a daughter of a king (leader) of a small village. At the beginning of the game you get told that your father is very ill and when you visit him, he is telling you the story about a "great war" where he and your mother was involved in. And at the moment, when hes is talking you the story, you have the chance to fight in that "great war" as your father. And almost at the "end" of the battle your mother get hurt and died. When this happen you come back to present.

After all, it is your first quest to find an medicine for your father. And the journey beginns. When you get back, you notice the hes dead. But not because he was ill but because he got poisoned. You meet your mother and oncle at the cemetery in this village (that is on a hill. At this point I have to say the hill looks similar to this one
http://img-9gag-fun.9cache.com/photo/aObOyMr_700b.jpg )
After all, you decide to find the murderer and to take revenge. After your first journey you noticed that the next person is dead (oncle) and now youre alone to do that.

In this game you have the possibility to play in group up to 3 or 4 person (not player but only NPC- Like in Dragon Age). You could equip all of them and skill them up.

The whole game was in a kind of samurai/dark age still or something.

It is an old game but is one of that kind there graphic doesnt matter. The story was awesome. It would be great when someone of you know that game and could tell me the title.

Gabriel (amongalia)

Im thinking its this game Seal of Evil http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/seal-of-evil

Hello peoples. I this thread whilst looking for a few games, hopefully someone can help me pinpoint them.

I'm looking for three PC games from the 90's.

First one we have a survival game in which you manage a team of specialists in an hostile alien environment and have to help them reach a point whilst avoiding the brutal aliens. These aliens were more animalistic and non-intelligent. It's an isometric, 45% degrees look, I believe it was Windows 9x (possibly 98). I believe it may be an European game from a non-English speaking country since all the characters spoke English with an accent. (I remember a female medic/scientist shouting "Help me please" with a strong accent).

Another game is a top view shooter (similar to early GTA but closer) in which you traverse these gritty dungeon like places and have to reach the exit whilst fighting your way through mechanized enemies. Now you can just incapacitate the mechs and then jump into them and use them instead, I vividly remember that. It was controlled with two axis as far as I remember, one for walking and another for shooting.

The third one is harder. I remember this awesome looking SHMUP with amazing visuals and soundtrack. It may have been late MS-DOS or Win 9x. Tyrian 2000 looks familiar but not quite. I remember a lava level, but am no longer sure if it was vertical or horizontal scrolling. I'm not fully 100% discarding Tyrian just yet but it doesn't feel like quite the right game. I believe the ship was slightly bigger (or rather the field of view was closer to the ship) and I'm more inclined to vertical scrolling than horizontally.

Thanks in advance peeps!

I'm fairly new, but I remember playing a game on the PC which had 4 characters I think. One was a woman and you also had a Arnold-Schwarzenegger-sound-a-like warrior. It was a dungeon crawler I think with a dragon and the characters would dish out funny insults and there were also spiders if memory serves...

Awesome, Enemy Infestation and Machine Hunter are correct! That's two out of three! Now if only someone could pinpoint that SHMUP for me...

Hi all! Can someone help me to recall old DOS game? This is side-view game, where you control bouncing ball on oval platforms. Some platforms shrink every time the ball bounce off them. The object of the game is to collect prizes (fruits, AFAICR). There are some dangers: slippery platforms and so on. What is the name of this game?
Thanks!

Hi guys,

Hope you can help me. I have been looking for this old pc-game a long, long time.

It was set in ancient Egypt. There was a god in the sky (Osiris?), and you were participating in the construction of a pyramid.

There were all kinds of "minigames", like making beer, navigating a maze in a swamp, aligning the entrance of the pyramid with the North Star, carving rocks with a wedge from a quarry...

Do you guys have any idea what this game was called?

Hope you can help me,

Kind regards,
Lars

Hi everybody,

I am reposting this in hope of finding someone who can help! :)

Here's what I remember:

- I used to play it in late 90s/2000 but it might have been out for a while

- top view, a bit like pacman

- labyrinth levels, all made of tiles

- the protagonist was a white square and all the enemies were squares of different colours for different kinds (I seem to remember ninjas?), except for one which was composed of 4 red circles of decreasing size (blood worm? lava worm?)

- you often had to collect coloured keys to open locked passages

- you had to kill all enemies before being able to exit the level

- dynamite was one of the special weapons

Thanks!!
