Reposting this as I did not get any hits... Please PM me or Reply Quote if you know...

There is a game I have been trying to think of. This might be a hard one as I only have some sketchy details.

This would be late 80s early 90s PC game. It is fantasy based, single player RPG game. Good graphics for the time. A 3d world environment. You were basically a night walking around exploring the world, fighting undead and other typical monsters. I remember the graphics were about as good as the game Myst.

I think the title was something similiar to Drakken or along those lines. No, its not Drakkhen for the SNES. Your main quest was to find (or fight) a Dragon.

Oh, one major thing. The game was buggy as hell. It would keep crashing at this one certain spot and you could never progress. I think a patch came out for it to fix the crashing, but I never got around to installing it.

Need help with title, don't remember much.
I thought maybe the game was baldurs gate but its not. I never actually played it but i watched my dad play it. It was on the pc though possibly other consoles too. Third person birds eye view similar to baldurs gate. I remember your could harvest resources like i watched him go into an icy landscaped area and when he would move the mouse over a giant crystal-like pillar of ice, it turned into a pick axe or hammer symbol and then his character would go over and start hacking at it with a pick axe. In this same icy area he fought monsters and it was like a hack and slash but i think maybe he could use spells, i am not 100% on that. There was lots of creatures attacking at once, i remember large spiders but the monster i remember the most was a giant ogre, orc, or troll. It had a huge hammer and it would try to crush you with it and the sound it made was reminiscent of the sound on law and order (you know, that 'tung, tung!' sound but only once)
I hope this is descriptive enough. Time frame was late 90's early 00's maybe

Hello, I'm hoping someone on here can help me. I've been thinking about this game for a while but I don't remember what it's called or what console it was on (I'm thinking Snes, PS1 or PS2) The only thing I remember about this game is that the main character used a gun (I think) and when you got a new one you could use the old one to upgrade the new one to make it stronger and/or more features (I believe you could also find parts around the world as well). Also I remember a side quest involving collecting insects (maybe just Beetles) and some were stronger than others to use in Fights against other computer opponents insects/Beetles...Sorry, I know this isn't much help, I know it's not very old (made in the last 10 years) I appreciate any help.

Happy new year.
I remember playing a game on the pc about 10 years ago. It was an rpg and there was a few different games. You're character name was the same in every game but you would be something different like a knight or barbarian. You had to build up a group of characters to use to fight. The combat was turn based. When not in combat you could see the entire map and could only move so much per day. That's about all I remember.

Hello, reposting.
I`m looking for a very old game, somehwere from betwean 1990-2000. It`s a PC, 2D sidescroller where you could play as 1 of the 3 classes - mage, archer and warrior(no not Trine, Trine is 2009). So what you did is, you had to walk through the dungeons collecting gems and fighting different kinds of foes, doing some mediocre platforming, you could also upgrade your characters skills if i`m not mistaking. And as far as I remember, I haven`t played this game in 10, or more, years, the final boss was some large skeleton with a crown.
The heroes all looked like dwarfs or maybe even Vikings, but it`s not any of the "Lost Vikings" games.
And yet again, if my memory doesn`t fail me miserably, the executable was called dwarf.exe or dwarf2.exe (cause that was what it looked like on my desktop at the time, cause I spent so much time in front of it)
Also if this helps, the style was a bit cartooney and it`s certainly not "Golden Axe" or "Gauntlet Legends"
I don't suppose Castle of the Winds is your game?

Hi there,
I remember playing a game, I think on Playstation (most likely PS2) where you had a little pet thing and you could buy it things. I'm pretty sure it was like a part of the game and you got the money by playing mini games and things. I thought it was an eye-toy game but i'm not so sure, it's been a long time since I've played it. I don't really remember much else. I think it might've been Japanese too...

Hi!

I remember between 1998-2002 playing an pirate game on our school PC's. From what I can remember it was called "Pioneers: Merchants and Pirates". You started out in a market where you could buy food, weapons(specifically canons and bunderbuss' to name a few) and also hire crew for your ship. Once you were ready you went out to sea where you would either fight oher ships(by clicking X's on the screen) or have to answer a trivia question. Often times you would randomly hit high winds and lose resources, or crewmen would revolt and you'd lose men.

It bugs me that I remember so much but can't find it ANYWHERE. The computer's were windows 98 and I'm almost certain it was some sort of educational game, as it was installed on every computer in the lab.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Greeting all, Happy New Year!

I'm trying to find out more about a game I played in the 80s, at a very young age. It wasn't on Master System or NES, I know that for sure. In fact, I think it was an Amiga game. You played a pumpkin that bounced around, evading baddies and traps in a haunted house.

It was all in black and white, or possibly a light green and black (like some of the 'Dizzy's Adventure' games). I remember the title screen featured a haunted house on the edge of cliff.

I keep thinking it was called 'Haunted House' or 'Ghost House' but no Internet/YouTube search brings up anything that matches my memory of the game.

Thanks in advance.
Cauldron 2 ?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cauldron_II:_The_Pumpkin_Strikes_Back
That's the one! Thanks! Just looked it up on YouTube, having a trip down memory lane...

Cheers!

There are 3 games that I've been trying to find for some time. at least 2 of the games should be pre 20's

1. PS1 turn based RPG. I remember a particular part of the game where you would have your party in a miner's wagon and sliding down a hillside, having to solve combinations at certain places on your way down so the mining wagon would'nt fall off the rail. And a bossfight at the bottom near a gate where one of the characters aquired a dragon/mecha form. Should be quite early in the game. Something else that comes to mind is that you had to swap CD's a lot. There was this forest nearby where you could run across 3+ CD's in a short amount of time and back again.
It's not legend of dragoon cause I've seen through the a walktrhough and I couldn't find that part in particular. I also mean that it looked better cause I had a chance to compare it with Final Fantasy X at the time and remembering that I was amazed that a so much older game could nearly match it. It's not final fantasy either if I'm mixing somehow because I presistently remember wings on all the characters.

2. The other game is a tilted/top-down view RTS. I think the whole gameplay was a sort of strenght in numbers type of thing. You started with a plot of land and the player's job to build the "correct" units and/or buildings and preset how the AI would take care of the rest. Maybe you could also turn off the AI and control everything yourself?. The battles would happen in a maze moving about until your reached the enemy base. Looks sort of sci fi, grey, metal-ish maze with ledges and trenches where you could move your units. I think 1 lane held 1 unit in width.

3. the last game I'm looking for is a sci-fi strategy game. You start out by choosing a faction/race. From there you move to a spaceview menu where you could choose mainly between going to your caity map, choose what to build and choose what to bring with you on missions. Battles would be fought out and looks like Red Alert with the option of setting the game to real time or turn based before you started a new game. Another thing to mention is that the AI is EXTREMELY aggressive. I would always die after 6-10 turns or barely do 2 missions (16-20 minutes) real time before the other (around 8) factions wanted to nuke me and surviving even the first AI was near impossible.

sorry for the huge post... I hope this poses a good enough challenge for anyone that can help out. //evil laugh

I'm thinking your first game is either Breath of Fire III or IV.

There is one PC game... I know some important details but can't really find anything by these.

- This is a very old 3D PC game. I was using Windows 98 back then, but the game has proper 3D models and buildings (like PSX-ish).
- The city looked very futuristic, and the main colour was dark blue.
- Your life bar was on the left, it was vertical and thin, shiny whitey-blueish, whenever you got hit, the life bar would start to disintegrate into pixels, flying away (that is one very particular detail I remember)
- Also, while you were walking on the city, you could get run over by a car (not sure if it even had wheels), and then the life bar would get a bit disintegrating into pixels while you were on the floor.

- I'm not very sure about this, but I think the main character had amnesia or something like that.
- The first thing you had to do was to meet a woman in a building (I think).

I'm looking for the name of a video game I played around 1997-98ish. I played it on my PC, though it could have been converted from console play for the PC. You could play as a woman who threw fireballs or a guy with a sword. Both were dressed in caveman style outfits and were running around what appeared to be a jungle. I think you found floating red diamonds to get points. It was a side scroller. I think there were constant animal sounds going on in the background, especially the sounds of large cats (cheetahs, jaguars, etc.).
