Now for my conundrum... An old game, that I can remember so much about, but not the name. Perhaps someone can help me...
It was a point and click adventure game for PC, came on four CDs, and had a lot to with trains... You were some kind of scientist trying to solve a mystery and prevent the Earth from being hit by an asteroid, or something similar. I swear the name had something to do with motion, but it's simply eluding my memory. Someone, help me out!
Any ideas?

Hi I remember a little bit about this old game I played and owned on pc when I was little but I don't think I have it anymore and I don't remember what it's called

1.it's a real time action rpg where you got your exp and leveling and stuff. You play as a young sorcerer kid wearing blue clothes and a small pointed cone shaped blue hat and he's a little cartoony looking with like a sphere shaped nose, I think. And he carries a staff with a yellow or goldish colored ball for the tip

2. The gameplay seemed to be purely magic based and your basic attack which I think was done with the space bar was a no magic cost little magic blast

3. Part of the storyline and goal of the game you had to look for pieces of some sword (and I think the game cover shows the character you play as holding said sword you find the pieces for)

4. when you fled from a battle the character actually yells out run away

And that's all I can remember about it
Quest 64?

I only played this game a few times at a hotel, but I'd love to remember what it was called. Here goes: It was a sidescroller arcade game that let you pick 1 of 4 characters to begin with. If I recall correctly there was a fighter, mage, ranger, and something else. I remember only being able to beat the first level, but I'm pretty sure that you started in a swampy area. Now I'm not 100% sure on this, but I vaguely remember the first boss having something to do with bubbles, or circles, or eyes. Also, I'm pretty sure that you climbed down a hole after the first level. If anybody could make anything out of that vague description, I would very much appreciate it! Thanks.

Ok I've been trying to remember the name of an NES game I used to play as a kid (early 90s). I remember the cover of the game had a blue character and red character that resembled futuristic cop-like people. I also remember its a 3rd person shooter game, the enemy was sort of old school gang / mob looking if I remember correct and at one point in the game you are on a bridge and get into a red sports car. One of the bosses was a giant head too. I cannot, for the life of me, find the name of the game. I would love to get this game again

I've been trying to remember the name of a PC game I used to play.
I think the 1st word of its name is Dr. (I'm not positive though, I think the 2nd part started with a C and was also hard to pronounce.)
I remember that you could lay bombs by pressing space, move using the arrow keys, and that you could collect stuff.
You also had to collect keys to move on.
And I think that both you and the enemies looked like robots.
It was very colorful, with a top and scrolling view.
You could look around using the pg up, pg dn, and home buttons on the keyboard.
Zoom control might have also been a feature, and you could save the game, and there were at least 6 levels.
That's all I can remember right now.
Can anyone help me with remembering what it was called?

Alright, I've been trying to remember the name of an old Browser based game I used to play back in the 90s or 2000.
It was a screen scroller, not side scrolling but the entire screen changed when you moved.
It was a multiple choice type game, like "You've encountered a group of Goblins, you: A,B,C,D".
It wasn't Choice of the Dragon.
You moved North, East, South, or West.
It wasn't completely text based.
You couldn't see your character, I don't believe, just a landscape was pictured.
It was an RPG.
I almost think when you died you had to start a new character...or something seriously negative happened when you died.
Anyone? I'm so desperate to remember the name of it, lol. Thanks!

This one has been bugging me for ages

It was an old pc game not sure if for windows 98 or older
The game featured a red (if not brown) haired guy in some sort of blueish armor or costume
It was all futuristic and at the beginning of the game after you arrived from a portal some sort of yellow ish insect figure attacked you but you escaped
I think you had a blue bandana on your head
I think it was 3rd person based and if i remember correctly an RPG as well
No clue what was the game about since back then i didnt speak english at all, although you might have been some sort of futuristic cop or such, i think you might have been able to shoot laser from your wrist

The cover art was of maybe an eye or some sort of circle it mainly featured blue if not purple ish colors

PS: im not sure if any of my memories are indeed correct about the game i just hope you have more luck finding it than i have, Thanks for the help

Is it "Gadget: Past As Future"?

Came on 4 CDs, lot of trains, a monorail, and an approaching comet. [http://www.mrbillsadventureland.com/reviews/g-h/gadgetR/gadgetR.htm]

If that's the game, do you think you came across the name before but discounted it because you thought the title was wrong?

Looking for the name of a game which was included in one of the old school gateway game packs. Probably late 90's release. It was a side scrolling arena game. I remember you would pick between like fifty different characters one that I remember was a green lizard guy and one was an eyeball which walked on veins for its legs. The setting was like in an arena/castle background. I think you just fought one vs one but, could be wrong. Don't really remember there being a leveling system but, there might have been. I also remember that another game in the pack was Battlezone which could help narrow down a release date.

One other thing I have been wondering is the name of these toys I used to play with. I'm guessing they were Power Ranger knock offs. There were four in the set and they were made pretty well with multiple articulation points. There was a Black one, a red one which had a single goofy antler which could extend or fold back on his head, a blue one with little wings on his shoulders and a green one. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I've got to know this game. Played it as a kid on Win 95.

You are a Scientist or Professor, and you have white hair. You're constantly using a PDA. You meet up with this scientist girl who ends up as his sidekick. The bad guy is a big green guy who loves a teddy bear. Some of the things you had to do included catapulting yourself into a castle, something with a hot air balloon, and you also had to mess with a terrarium and make a mutant frog thing to fight against the bad guy's mutant ants. At one point you are taking Carpet samples for some reason or another. I'VE GOT TO KNOW THIS GAME!

Of all the games which I'd like to revisit, yet cannot remember the name of, there's one I remember enough about to feel confident to ask if you guys know.

As far as I remember, it's a point and click adventure, and it was rather educational. You're a boy, and you run around in a town, solving puzzles you could say, I guess. I'm pretty sure the game starts of in the bed room of said boy.
Also, of what else I remember, you could turn off and on the lights in rooms.
And in the town, there was a farm.

It's quite a few years old, but probably not too many.I would guess I played it around 10 years ago or so. It was for PC, and it took place in the then modern times.

Hi y'all

A tall challenge this one, but I wonder if anyone has any ideas, a while back say 1994-1997 played on a PC turn based strategy game and its driving me mad trying to think of the name!

It was sci fi, but set on earth, the opening cinematic was set in a desert and had two regular tanks being smashed up by some kind of missile hover craft.

The game play itself consisted of I think tile based turn play and you had units ranging from almost marine armored suited type troops to hovercraft which looked a bit like the attack flyers from star wars the empire strikes back and you could flick to unit descriptions with a voice description.

The aim of the game was to destroy the enemy HQ which was a sort of hexagonal block with flags on the top.

The game maps included at least one I can remember called the edward/anderson islands and you always had a voice over describing the maps and the maps themselves had cities or towns taking up one square.

any help would be much appreciated!

Using your AWESOME description, it actually sounds like Castelian for NES.
Yeah I know that im not precise. :/ Ok but I remembered something else. When you are jumping up this tower(almost like in icy tower) you were collecting coins. And if you stand on stonebox and jump then box were falling down.
