Used to play an old Racing game on the PC back in the early 90s. Can't remember the name for the life of me though.

In order to play, you used to have to complete sentences found in the game manual. You could also make some massive custom tracks, utilizing loop de loops, ice tracks, dirt tracks, slanted tracks, jumps, etc.

Ah, and when you crashed your HUD (a dash board with complete -meters and all that, steering wheel, and windshield) windshield would crack.

Hey!
I'm having trouble remembering the PC game i used to play as a kid(About 10 yeas ago). (For win 95 or win 98)
I asked my father about this game and he told me that it was called "Sergo" but trying to find game called like this ended up with no results. So i'm turning to you guys.
In the game you were a green miniature soldier(like an old-school toy soldier that we 90's kids used to play). In the first level you were in the kitchen trying to find a way to the crock/clay pot, where you were transported to the next level. On the way you had to kill some cockroaches. Some of the scenes were in the garden (somehow i remember there was a big pink flamingo). Usually there were also enemy soldiers, they were mainly colored white/beige but sometimes also blue and i think there were even red ones. It was like in the war - tanks, military ships, planes. Usually the whole game took place in the forest or open field where were few trees or shrubs. You had to kill enemies in order to stay alive and get to the end point(I don't really remember if you had to rescue someone or not). When you'd kill someone, the they drop crate. Each crate contained first-aid kit or mines or guns, all that kind of military and army thing. When playing that game then on the screen there was a map where it showed which were your men (green) and which were enemy ones.

That's all i can remember. If you are able to identify this game, that would be awesome. But if not, then it isn't the end of the world.

Good luck and best wishes,

H.S.
I think it's an Army Men Game, i.a. Army Men: Sarge's Heroes

Hey guys, I am struggling to remember the name of the following game:
(as far as I remember):
- it's a 1st-person open world game
- you start on a beach
- you can have quests either for gangsters or for government(or military)
- you can drive cars, boats, you can swim and dive
- while diving you can find pearls which you can sell later
- you can catch fish
- you can upgrade your skills such as inventory or underwater breathing
- it's a "Far Cry" style game
- maybe its release date is around 2010-2011
Please give me at least some suggestions
That sounds like either Boiling Point: Road to Hell or White Gold: War in Paradise.

There are lot's of those kind of games, like: Caesar, Age of Empires, Settlers and more. I would say we need a little more information.

Okay, here's the game I'm trying to remember:

- Late 80's/Early 90's arcade game

- Thing I remember best is the "Winners Don't Use Drugs" splash screen

- Probably a side-scrolling beat-em-up, like Streets of Rage, but not 100% sure

- Player(s) are some sort of cops in the first level, fighting criminals. After an accident (getting shot?), players have big bulky exoskeleton/mech suits for the following levels. I was young and bad at it, so I didn't get to the exoskeleton levels that often.

- It was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen as a 6 year old, and it sucked up all my quarters at the Pack Out Diner in Battle Mountain, Nevada for the longest time :)

hi people, i'd like to id an old pc game that i played when i was a kid.

- adventure point and click game
- old pc game, i might have played it on xt286 pc
- floppies installation if im not mistaken, 5.25" highly likely
- main character is a woman of non-caucasian origin, either an african-american woman or spanish(?)
- storyline a bit sketchy, but i believe it's about the girl (us, the player) stumbled upon a murder and had to go parking lot etc and go elsewhere, but in the end it culminates in an ending eerily similar to Michael Douglas' The Game, as in there was never a murder, it was all a playful game
- i remembered it being a short game for an adventure but i liked it very much
- i don't remember the character is ever shown in the game, except maybe in cutscene, i believe the adventure game uses fixed POV, what on screen is what the character see, instead of character inside an environment ala monkey king.
- probably 256-color game
- the name could be a single word, phantasm, fantasm, fantasia(?) the name eludes me but i remembered when i was a kid, the title was quite "exotic" for a pc game, and that drew me to try it

any help would be appreciated, i really want to re-play this game if possible.

It might be Dungeons and Dragons: Shadows over Mystara. It definitely has branching paths, 4 players, upgradable weapons and a black dragon boss. As for the other features, i can't remember.

With that title, you might be thinking of Phantasmagoria...but that game was definitely not on floppy disks!

Ok, I need help identifying this game: I played it on the PC in the early-mid 90's. It was a multiplayer car racing game which I believe you could play over a modem with someone else. It's theme was that of Deathrace 2000 (like the old movie), but that was not the name of the game, though I feel like it's close to something like that (and not death rally either). You could customize the weapons on your car, and I think some of the car itself. - I remember while driving you could drop little mines behind you to blow up the other players. The NPCs were also themed like characters from a Deathrace 2000 world. I remember that basically you would need to take out all of the other players to win maybe as you race around the track. Any help would be MUCH appreciated, I've been trying to figure this out for like 2 years now - haha.. =)
Was it, by any chance, Hi-Octane?

I know that's a terrible screenshot lol.
I don't think so, it had a darker tone to it =(

Oh man, this is the kind of thread I was looking for.

Ok, I played this game a long time ago (probably pre 2000s) on PC when I was a kid, What I can remember is that it was some sort of adventure game, probably with prerendered graphics but a 3D character, where the protagonist wears a yellow outfit (kind of Beatrix Kiddo's) and visits different time periods defeating a boss in each of them. I kind of remember you start in some sort of stone age and advance until you reach space. On the way you get different weapons and grab this big blue microchips. I remember that, when you tried to examine something unexaminable, it had this 2-3 second animation where he/she opened its arms and shake its head, very annoying when trying to get everything. The only boss I remember clearly was this dark armor suit (probably empty), which I remember I stole its sword by doing the examination move in front of him before he attacked me.

That's pretty much all I remember from that game.

i believe you're looking for a game called 'time commando'.

I've been hunting a game for awhile now. Well, actually, three, but I'll only pester you with one.

It was a PC game on I believe Windows 98, but it could've been 95
I think it was some kind of RTS, or something, it had a top down 3rd person view of your character and the world (which was bare at the start of the game, just grass) , who was very small
I remember it came with a poster with a bunch of weird mythical creatures on it.
The most defining thing I can see is I do remember what the cover art looked like.
It had 3 characters, a lady in the middle, something with I think a war ax of other club on the side, and the one I remember the most was this weird insect looking creature, like a bee, and it was holding a bottle. What kind of bottle I don't know, looked like a typical beer bottle.

I might be wrong about a few of those details on the cover, but I know there was an insect creature on it. That much I remember.

OK I used to rent this game from my local library as a kid. It was sort of along the lines of putt putt or freddy fish, but more realistic.
It was a puzzle/adventure game where the main characters were a group of kids, in a town where a dragon thing came, and the goal of the game was to stop him.
I remember clearly on each puzzle you had to collect these different colored bugs there was also something to do with goo being everywhere.
The puzzles I remember

one was a spider in a swamp and you had to solve the puzzle to get the bugs from her

A waterfall that had bugs you had to order in the right way to reach the top

This was one of my favorite games of all time and its very frustrating to not remember it.
Please Help!!!

Hi.
Looking for a game from 90's perhaps end of 80's but no sure.
Remember it was arcade game I played as a kid in one of the amusements parks.
Tried to google it but nothing comes up, It's like mortal kombat style game on the ring, but you fight as warriors and wizards, there are some bonuses and super powers, dragons, magic balls, maybe wizard was changing in to dragon? Don't remember anything else.

Would appreciate any help with the title.

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a Playstation 1 game, most likely RPG and/or Adventure. I'm guessing late 90s to early 2000s.
Throughout the game you had a birds eye view (a top-down game like Pokemon, Legend of Zelda) The time setting was most definitely medieval (no guns etc.) You played as a white Barbarian, I remember you could throw stones to make way and clear your path, and also pick other characters eg. a magician etc. The game very closely resembles Herc's Adventures. The game had like a gloomy atmosphere it wasn't sunny most of the time. You kept mashing buttons to slash enemies in your path I remember starting at shore? and you moved on to a jungle. I know it's pretty vague but any help would be appreciated.

hy,

I was wondering if anybody know the game where you have just one screen picture and is for more players than 2.
on the screen are the trees and the ground where deer is walking, when you kill deer you get a steak and you have to pick it up,you also have a sword, bow and some hot stones ( this hot stones you throw on the ground and anybody who touched them is dead also if you hit someone with a arrow or sword he dies.
you can climb on trees and trying to kill opponent, the point of this game i think is to be the last one standing. I think that there is up to 6 players.

if anybody could help me find this game or what is called i would be very grateful.
