Please help!

I'm looking for an old PC game I used to play as a kid. The game featured a young boy who had black shoes, black hair, and glasses. The setting was in a swamp/bog and there were evil trees with faces and frogs too, I believe. I don't remember the exact objective of the game, but I do remember that you killed the trees somehow. Also, I think there was some kind of green mist or fog that came from the trees that killed you. I have been searching for this game for years and can't find the name of it. If anyone knows the game please let me know!

I found it! It's called Loonyland: Halloween Hill

Im looking for a ps1 game, dont even know how old it is.

You play a boy along with some captured or created creatures. you can train them, level them and teach them new moves, while you alway only have your weapon attack or items. it is a turn based strategy based (player and enemy phase)

its soehow like most tactics games (final fantasy tactics for example) the map is devided in squares, different units can move 3 or 6 squares per turn and attack adjacent units r use spells for long range. After you beat the game in the new game+ i believe the protagonists sister could be treated like a "monster" as being raised but like the protagonist can only use weapons.

I believe the disc had a single eye on it with the name written over it, but i am not sure about this

I believe I had first played this game at one the computers at my library when I was 6 or 7 maybe around 2000. I'm almost positive it involved talking to elves or some kind of creatures that looked like humans. All I remember is just interacting with these elf things and going from screen to screen maybe doing puzzles or something, some kind of kids adventure game? Possibly educational? Know what I'm talking about?

I remember playing a PC game in the 90s. It involved a grid-like system in which you and the computer moved your guy around, and when you landed on a certain space, you had to do something in order to win a weapon. If you and your opponent landed on the same space, then you two would have a turn-based battle with the weapons you had collected. I'm not certain, but I remember it being in black and orange.

I hope someone can help.

Someone please tell me the name of this PS1 game, i am searching for him a long time.

It's a middle age game, where you fight with: Sowrds, Maces, Bows. In the beginning there is a intro who show a Castle/Church and there is some skeletons wandering around. When the game begins you chose a character and theres is three options and they are like the Jack, Queen, King, when you choose one he jumps out of the card, and rips off the card. I think it begins in a house on fire and you get out and it is raining. I don't remember very well i was very young. Forget my bad english i'm from Brazil. I will be very thankful if someone could help me with this one.

Was it Warriors of Might And Magic? ( http://www.giantbomb.com/warriors-of-might-and-magic/3030-3030/images/ )

(I think the "3000" is actually 2000. Which stands for "Simple 2000" (and is sold for around 2000¥ in Japan), which is basically "low budget" games.
Some of the companies that ported these games to Europe were Midas Interactive Entertainment, and they made Warriors Of Might And Magic. (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_series#List_of_Simple_series_games ))

Hello to the Escapist community!

Something has been bothering me all of a sudden.

There is an old side scrolling space shooter game that I began to vividly remember playing from my childhood, but I cannot for the life of me remember the title at all. I definitely remember only ever playing this on computer; more specifically Windows 98 PC.

I remember that you play as a spaceship fighting aliens in a side scrolling arcade style setting much like Gradius, and there happened to be boss stages at the end of every section. I remember those bosses to be extremely difficult, but the thing that made this game different from other space shooters was every time you defeated a boss, you gained their weapon, much like MegaMan.

This sounds much like the Learning Company's Treasure Mountain, or a similar game to that effect. This is waaay back in my gradeschool years, around when I was 4-6 years old. Hope this helps! =)

Hello, I have been looking for a game I played in the late 90s. It was a 2d sci fi turn based strategy game where you controlled several planets and produced spaceships to conquer other planets. From what I remember there was only one type of spaceship and you could play either with AI or with people at the same computer. There was no economy or diplomacy from what I remember and the only way to win was to conquer all the other planets.

Hello everyone.

I remember 3 games that I used to love when I was younger but no matter how much I searched for them, I cannot find them. All of these were played on a PC with a Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP operating system, before 2005.

1. Racing game. As far as I remember it had graphics similar to NFS 2, Ridge Racer or Rage Racer, but it is not any of those. I remember three things about it.
a) The races were on time trial and you reached checkpoints to extend your time.
b) At the end of one of the levels(Brazil) there was a volcano I believe ? (Read below)
c) I remember that you would pick a flag, like Brazil for example and it would take you to the specific race. ( might mistake for another game )
d) It had multiple tracks.

2. 3D Shooter. Can't remember exactly if it was 3rd person or 1st person but I tend to believe it was third person. Also, I tend to believe this game was played on a windows XP operating system and that it may have been a flash game installed through some 3rd party application from the web. ( could be completely wrong though; They had a ton of free games. Can't remember the name of the company but they went out of business on suspicion of installing viruses and tracking things on the users computer )
a) The main character was a female with purple hair kind of like Goku ( I think, definitely purple though ).
b) The part I remember is that I was chasing the bad guys through airport hangars, in a part of a level an airplane is actually visible and you can walk around it's wheels.
c) There were a lot of grey walls.
d) The enemies in the airplane level wore red outfits I believe.
c) It had cut scenes. There was a story to it. I remember that there was a cut scene of a guy reaching the airport by motorcycle.
e) I remember taking an elevator.

3. Alien Side Scroller. (2D)
a) You kept having to go back to base to refill on oxygen, because you had an oxygen plant there.
b) Waves of insect/spider like aliens would keep coming and you could not let them destroy your base.
c) If you kept pushing them you would reach a boss at the end which was quite a pain in the ass to defeat.

Hello everybody,

I registered only with hoping that I will find a game I've been looking for so long, so I really do hope someone will know it.

Here goes the hints:

I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.

Hope somebody knows what game I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for reply, guys.

I realize this isn't a perfect match, but this was what i thought of first (Spec Ops: The Line (2009 debut trailer)) ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cObkgwyi6a4 )
