I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.

So here goes, i searched for this a long time now

Here's what i remember
The character was a boy, had a blue outfit with a hat. He had the ability to shoot some sort of blue spheres, and every time you get hit the outift color and powerup you had changed. It goes from Blue to Green, then it goes to Yellow where he starts shooting soccer balls and the final one goes to pink where he shoots double soccer balls, after that basically if you get hit one more time you're done. I remember trying to rescure some girl from a ghost or something. I cannot remember much more than that, if anyone has an idea..been looking for it forever now.

Hey guys, looking to find a game from my childhood.

It was a 90's PC game that involved some sort of earning money (by answering questions?) to travel to different capitals/countries. I think it was a kids' edutainment game, but not super cartoon-y. There was a detective/spy character (that showed up on a completion screen?) The cover was yellow with a tall apartment building in the middle and the detective/spy guy in a trench coat standing by it. Other than the yellow, the building and the character were in black and white on the cover.

Hopefully someone has some idea of what it could be (wish I provide better/more details). Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and help!

I am looking for a pc game. It was late 80's early 90's. Its was on 1 white 3.5 disk. When you tried to play a game you had to enter an access code. it was a game where your a detective solving high profile cases. It was like a you worked for the government or something and you had to have a code to access the files. my disk ended locking up because I entered the code wrong and I was never actually able to play the game fully..please help its driving me crazy!!

Can someone help my brother and I remember a game from our childhood? It's driving us crazy.

There's not much that we remember about it but we remember a few things.

In the beginning your character falls into a giant gramophone and you end up in this music world where you have to turn the sour notes into normal notes again. It was really colorful and you had to play all these music games to fix everything. I have some other vague images from it but that's mostly it. Can anyone help?

I think you might be talking about http://www.mobygames.com/game/jump-start-music

"Hopsalot, the Jump Start bunny, is showing off his Great Grandrabbit's gramophone, when he is suddenly pulled right into the gramophone's trumpet and into the Land of Music, hot on the trail of a batch of sour notes. It appears that the evil Sir Sournote has soured all the music; Hopsalot must travel throughout the Land of Music collecting all the ruined notes in his bag, and bring them to the Concert Hall to sweeten them again."

Mmm, not sure about the entering a code to access files, but http://www.mobygames.com/game/mean-streets sounds like it could be similar. In it, you go around doing detective work and solving cases, and entering an address (four-digit code) allows you to go to various people to question them.

Sounds like Kangaroo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kangaroo_%28video_game%29), with a brown kangaroo jumping up a forest wearing red boxing gloves.

I remember playing a game in the early 2000's on either a Win 95 or 98, it was a (VERY) gory sprite(?) like horror game that featured like zombies/mutations. I can remember you get dropped off in a whole town alone and you have to fight through it and fighting bosses in the end and one boss was huge and you were fighting him in the water and his "weak spot" was when he ripped open his rib cage and showed off the mutations inside his chest cavity. I've been looking for this game for years now and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Any help is really appreciated!
Was it like Diablo? Legacy Of Kain: Blood Omen 1? Or something totally different?

What was the setting, fantasy? Was there a character selection?
It wasn't like Diablo or LoK:BO1, in fact, it wasn't fantasy at all. There was one character and you were completely alone. It was very much a game like RE but not.

Ok, there's a game which I can't find anything on the internet. It's an old pc game I played maybe 15 years ago. In this game you control a bunch of clocwork toys (I can clearly remember a robot,a kangaroo wearing boxing gloves, a robot-santa toy and a little fast chick) and your target is to spawn these toys and fight back the enemy's toys and when you reach the other end you gain a point (or maybe your opponent lose a life point or something like that).

I haven't been able to find any information out about this game, I've trudged through Google and tried to search this thread to no avail as yet...so, thinktank! Help!

This is a game that I played around 1994/5, though it may have been out for a while. I played it at my Aunt's on her Apple computer. It was in basic colour. I *believe* the name of the game included the word 'Doctor', but I'm not positive.

The premise was a basic obstacle course, where the player is a bar (a single white-ish line). The course is covered in ball shaped anchors that the bar must attach itself to (it rotates around the ball) and if the bar hits a solid or an implemented obstacle you must start again from the beginning of the course. It had things like fire, direction changes, disappearing anchors, etc.

Hello Escapists!

Played demo of a PC RPG really long ago, maybe even 10+ years.
It had a top-down camera (á la Diablo) and a large portrait of your entire character in the lower right where you could drag on and off equipment. Can't recall anything from the plot as I didn't know English at the time. I think I was able to choose between multiple characters before starting, one who definitely was a male fighter and one who was female.

I recalled it the other day and now desperately wish to relive some of that nostalgia!

You might be thinking of Spin Doctor.

I used to play this game on the PS2 and I have completely forgotten its name!
You had these monsters and you went in different warps I think and one of the earlier warps was to a forest and you had a battle scene like final fantasy and you could fight with your little monster and it could evolve And also later in the game you could fight your evil self and he had a tail and you fought him (dont know why i remember that part :p)
But if anyone remembers this game I would love you forever <3
