It's a vertical SHMUP for PC, I played an English demo around 2002-2004.
You play as a regular jet fighter set in a futuristic setting, strictly 2D, with an absent of anime art style.
The game plays like DoDonPachi and especially like Crimson Clover.
The distinct characteristic for this game is that one of the charge-up makes the jet emits bright, blue lightning bolts, the bolts are quite jagged, rather pixelated and strictly 2D.
During the demo, the charge-ups for the jet pretty much filled the entire screen, rendering the jet invincible.
Is it syndicate, or syndicate wars your thinking of possibley?Sandy242 said:I have one. This was from when I was a kid, but the game wasn't that old. I think. It was a pc birds-eye view strategy stealth army kinda game? I remember there being 4 or 5 characters in your team that you could choose, each having some specialty. We had to infiltrate an enemy base. I think that was the second mission. And I never got past it cause it was really hard at the time. And you control each character and make them sneak around and stuff to move ahead. You can pick their weapons and tools too I think. I remember everything being green. Like night-vision. I remember nothing else about the game and haven't been successful in trying to find it online. Please help! I've been trying to find it for so long.
BUMP! Also, I remember now that you could collect the enemy DNA? I think? And after too long of bodies sitting, they'd start to decay.Corey Newsham said:I use to play a game demo on this disc that came with a ton of demo's on it. It had like, 3 i think, different factions of creatures. I remember 1 was bugs I think, i strictly remember a fly type monster. In the demo, you were some kind of brown creature. Anyways, you would take your small beginning group of creatures, find an area close by to set up a base. You could then start building defenses, and things to power the base, and labs for upgrades and such. You could at some point create different types of these creatures, some with hammer arms, some with lasers attached to them, some with blades. You'd have to defend if the other factions attacked you. You could also take groups, sometimes huge ones, and hunt out enemy bases, and take them for yourself. The map had the, "cloud of war", thing, where it would only reveal parts you've explored. I remember these discs also had Gruntz on one of them at some point, but can't for the life of me remember the disc names, or the name of that game!! Heck, honestly could have been a floppy, but I'm not sure.
The game is Bleeposauruslostinconcentration said:I'm really wondering what this game is... I think I played it around 2003 maybe? It was a PC game that I found on nick.com. I don't think it was one of their "normal" games because you could only play a demo unless you wanted to buy it for $14. It was a 3D dragon game. The dragon was blue I think and it was kind of little. In each level, you had to wander around outside until you found another dragon to battle with (I think it was another dragon). I'm guessing you could breathe out fire and stuff but I can't remember. The main point of the whole game was to rescue something but I can't remember what... Maybe another dragon friend or something. On the very last level I remember playing, I think my small blue dragon was up against this giant mean looking dragon. Does anybody have any idea what this could be?
Was is Primal Rage?Azri Sallehuddin said:i need to know an old game where the main character is a monkey god (wukong?) defeats enemies using his stick and every level he gains a powerup. i remember he eventually gains a cloud that he would ride and there was a stage where he went up to the sky.

Jill Of The Jungle ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7E-P4VJbdgItalian lawyer said:Hello everybody, greetings from Italy. I found this interesting topic thanks to Google.
I'm very interested in because it's some weeks that I'm remembering something about an old-fashioned videogame that I was used to play as I was 5-6 years old- currently I'm 25, that means that the game should have been used in the early 90s- but can't just rembemer the name of.
I think it's possible to say that the genre could be described as arcade. The main character was a tiny, blond little girl that had to escape through different landscapes- mainly jungle landscapes- using lianes.
The graphics were quite old-fahioned: you could have distinghuished each single pixel.
Sorry that I can't tell something more about. That's what I could remember.
There are great chances that the game you're looking for is: Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord, you need to sleep in an tavern to level up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsX6WRDKP7YMrMop said:Here is a challenge, and i dont expect any one to know the answer, but if you then Kudos!
I had a game on windows 95, it was a dungeon crawler like dungeon master, but with worse graphics.
Enemies included harpies and other things. You had various character levels and skills to assign. As you got stronger so did the enemies, and you would have to find a tavern\pub to sleep and levele up. you could also by weaopsn , but it was a text interface for the tavern taverns were the top level of the dungeon and had to be entered by ladder. It possible this game was sharewhare. For some reason i thought it was called mmorpg which i realise is stupid!. its not ulitma online or anyhting, no where near that advanced.
any help would be sweet![]()
