Please help me,i'm going crazy,i'm tryin to find an old game probably made about 1995/2000, i don't remember much of the game, but i know it was a platform game mixed 2d/3d. i remember there was a level where you have to avoid carnivourous plants and that in the background there was pyramid and yellow flower, another level was an open space with a little tower to climb up. The main charachter wasn't an human, probably an animal or an insect(maybe green)
I've found two games there are really similar to that game:

-Bug! http://www.gamesasylum.com/wp-content/uploads/bug.jpg and this is very similar to the level that i described up
-Croc http://img2.game-oldies.com/sites/default/files/styles/large/public/snaps/sony-playstation/croc-legend-of-the-gobbos-ntsc-u-slus-00530.png?itok=aLsAqBZh this game instead is very close to the type of the second level i mention before

also the main characters are very similar but they aren't the game i'm trying to find.

Sorry for my bad english, but i'm italian.
Thanking you in advance for your help

Hey everybody.... I can't even describe how happy i am to discover your website and this particular post.
This memory of a game i was trying desperately to remember its name is driving me ABSOLUTLY crazy. And I would appreciate any help I can get.

But i must warn you that my description would be really vague. It was released in the late 90s I think and beginning of 2000s to PC. It was in the same period of the games: Claw and the watchmaker.

It begins by seeing a man who lives apparently in a small village. He wore a T-shirt (could have been white and jeans or dark color pants). This man received some sort of task (could be related to bring some medicament) and then the player take control in cruising the running man regardless of the really hard pouring rain through the village and different houses to achieve the task.

Unfortunately my PC was not equipped enough to support this game so it kept on crashing time after time before I could have completed the task.

I know that is really poor information to identify the game but hey I had to give it a try.:D

Many thanks in advanced. Peace

I need help trying to remember a old space sim game
It wasn't 3D or actual combat, but it had strategy, you could visit stations or planets, and each system had a lot of planets ( with a lot of system logically )
There were 4 Faction, all humans but with different ideals
( The Federation, The Rebels, and other two that focused on Mafia and Trades )
The combat was simples, two ships on each side, you would chose your action ( Fire, Advance, Board, etc )
I remember well, during Board the game would change to strategy combat, with my troops taking each part of the ship one by one ( it was very rare to actually reach the bridge and seize control, because of the unique Combat Machines, even tough I was full Marines )
What else...
The space was like a screen with points, some of them were planets, others were stations, and others were ships ( you would instantly reach the point where you clicked, on a planet/station to trade, quest, etc OR a ships to either speak or engage )
There were also certain jumpgate that would lead you to another galaxy ( as I said, the game was simple but quite big )

There was also a sequel to that game where you could create your own Pirate Faction and effectively try to seize control of the entire universe ( tough I never found out HOW to create my own faction actually )

Hello everybody, I'm desperately looking for an old arcade game.
I remember playing it around 1993/94/95. It was some kind of a Toki clone, meaning that it was a shooter/platform.
The protagonist was a boy with dark hair (I think) shooting energy projectiles out of his hands. There were upgrades, as I distinctly rememeber him shooting a giant atom shaped projectile at some point.
Possibly the first level was a plant of sorts, as I also remember pools of acid.
Is there anybody here who can help me?

Hello everyone the game im trying to find is a computer game i played on a pc with my cousins in the mid 2000s i think it was realeased in the early 2000s or so it was single player and it was fantasy based i think since some of the characters were like humanoid animals. It was 3D and took place on an island you could travel around and do whatever you want as well as fight monsters and you could get other characters in the world to join your party.I dont remember there being alot of npcs besides the characters that you got to join your party i dont think it was like typical rpgs it also was point and click and had a cartoony art style to it i remember we got the game without access to the internet so i think we may have got it from a cd

Hi everyone.

Been looking at Youtube for the past 2 hours for a game I played decades ago. I remember it so vaguely that it might not even exist and it could all just be my imagination.

The game should be released around 1990 or earlier. The graphics are very similar to Test Drive 3. It's a FPS + "point-and-click"(??? Don't know the name of the genre. But like Indiana Jones : Fate of the Atlantis) set in medieval/fantasy(I could be wrong). I don't remember what the character looks like, nor what the UI looks like. The FPS portion of the game looks like what I said, Test Drive 3. Green plains and wide open space. The character moves REALLY fast and shoots some sort of thin red laser. The only enemy I remember were birds/ravens that were very simply drawn like sticks. It's FPS where I really get to control where I want to go, almost like open-world. NOT the D&D Eye of the Beholder type movement.

Then I enter a dimly-lit castle/building and it becomes "point-and-click". I remember it looking like Kings Quest, maybe a little newer and better. Then it the next room there is like a huge pair of eyes on the wall that shoots me with laser and I just die there(this part may not even exist).

I know there's not a lot to work with, but you guys have to help me. I am going crazy. It's probably a horrible game and I won't play it more than 2 minutes if I ever find it, but I just HAVE to know.

On windows 98 my brothers and I would try to outdo each other in a game where you played as a green dragon and the levels we all like looked like the tops of castles, you had to defeat all the enemies and then you were on to the next level instantly, I think you controlled the dragon with the arrow keys and used space bar to jump/fly and you would fly in this unusual way where you could hit the stone of the castle and keep pushing space to stay flying in the same spot. You killed all the enemies by hitting them from above, and on later levels there was lava on the floor that would kill you. I think you could breathe fire to kill the enemies, but I can't remember. It was a game on a disk.

Hi, I am looking for this game, it might be a dos game. I want exactly the game shown in picture.

Um... Are you sure that it's not Lode Runner, like it says in the filename? The colors are off, but that's what usually happened if you tried taking a photo of an old monitor.

Hey guys!
Im in a really desperate search for two games which have released around 1995 and ran on Win98/95 I believe.

1. A 'turn based' strategy rpg, which must have been released before 2000. I only really recall, that in the first level some friends/family of the 'protagonist' (or rather first controlled character) are getting attacked by Orcs or Orc-looking creatures - I cant remember if they really were called orcs. The game was pretty hard (even though Im not quite sure since I was around 6 years old)and for a long time I thought the 2nd level was unbeatable. A level in this game would be a single fight were you could command your characters around a grid to fight orcs or other creatures and when one of your guys died, he/she was gone forever (I believe). Even the outcome of the first level differed depending on whom of the characters survived it. Any ideas? Help would be really appreciated!

2. An "action-rpg" from which I only played the demo. The setting was kinda pirate-like, I remember the demo starting off on a boat which comes into a harbour or atleast starting in a harbour city. You could walk around 3rd person (not quite sure about the perspective) and duel at some points with your rapier. I dont remember much beside the city you spawn in/close by and a somewhat carribian feel to it. Pretty hard games with some unbeatable enemies in the starting area.
Edit: Seem to have found the 2nd one. Appears to be The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard. Would have never thought it would be a TES game but back then I couldnt read. :D

Please help guys.. Years of searching and I still havent manage to find the first one.

I think it is lode runner but I am not 100% sure thats why I did not mention about it. Even if it is lode runner, I need that particular lode runner game shown in picture.

Hi,
I remember playing old game on windows xp. It was 3D and you were in the maze with green and red mushroom (toadstool). the maze was hedge.
I think the green mushroom were bad. Mushroom had weird movement from side to side. You were fighting with the mushroom with bomb i think, bud when they dodge nothing happens to them even when they were hit. Could attack you, you have to fist destroyed part of hedge.
thank you

Hello everyone, im looking for a game i played long time ago

I played in on Pentium 2 win 98, there was application called 101 games or so, also there was willow and other good games, its a fighting game where you can change characters you play with, if i remember correctly there was a guy in orange dress and black hair, guy with jeans and baseball cap and a big muscle guy, the thing is you advance thru levels by fighting bandits and bosses, the main goal of the game is to find and free some sort of girl i think, first level starts on the street, later on you fight inside trains and stuff, and i remember there was a level where you smash some guys car.

If someone remembers the name of the game, please post it below :)
Thank you!

I found it, it is Final Fight.

Ok guys thanks for reading this. I am looking for a ball and paddle game i played a couple of years ago. It is a bit different to other ball and paddle games in that at the start of each level you have about 9 balls in reserve and you can release the balls as needed by right clicking.
There are a number of powerups including

Longer/shorter paddle,
tiny ball,
huge ball,
ball flies through bricks,
exploding bricks,
shooting paddle,
magnetic paddle,
multi ball and
there was a powerup that gave you unlimited balls for about 30 seconds.

I can also remember that there was also these black bricks that would repel the ball if you hit it near them.

The game was also timed. All i need to know is the title of this game. I have not seen another game that even compares closely to this so it can't be too hard to find, as it is so different from all the others. I remember playing it around 2005 with my classmates at computer lab. it also has a white background and you can flip your paddle to hit the ball harder thanks

Hmm, I want to say the Escape Velocity series, but there are some points that don't match.

The factions sorta match, there is Federation, Rebels, Pirates, you could be unaffiliated and trade, but also had oddball ones like a low(er) tech warrior faction, a super high tech isolated faction, and an enslaved psychic faction.

The combat doesn't seem to match your description however, in EV it was basically just like asteroids, click to fire weapons in front of you, although you could board ships with marines and take them over (also rare to seize control).

Travel was sorta instant, in a warp jump method, but was limited by your jump range, and you couldn't warp to/from a planet or station but rather near it. I believe there were jumpgates, though i don't know if there were other galaxies.

I don't know if the originals had it, but in the sequel Escape Velocity Nova, you could conquer systems by having a high combat rating, hailing the station/planet, and demanding tribute. They would send a ton of ships to kill you, but if you won it was yours.

Hello!

I am wondering if anyone knows the name of this game I remember playing when I was very young. It was late 90's early 2000's. The game was played on my old box computer, and in the game your could obviously see the pixels. I think we pnly had choice of this girl character. She was short and squarish with a bob hair cut. I guess it was an adventure game. different levels would bring you to different sceneries. I remember there being a purple glob of goo as a villain, and if touched she would die

I do not recall the goal of the game other to advance in levels and not die. I also think the game might of came with the computer not sure.

If anyone has an idea of what it is please let me know!
