Hello guys!

I am searching the title of an old alien type game, maybe 20 years old. It is futuristic, all maps are actually levels that you can only visit once via teleport from your base. The first mission was about a lab attacked by aliens and the first boss was a huge human with 2 monster dogs.

The game is very like diablo, point and click, you can equip weapons armors and microchips as accessory. The inventory has not just a number of slots but also a weight counter. The monsters are aliens, eggs, if you wait too much they will open and a sorta of little orange snake monster will come out of it. These snakes can grow and they become a sorta of craw alien, orange too. These are the first and basic monsters. Every level has some missions to do, like 4-5 such as kill all aliens, or kill 300 eggs or find a particular item or kill the boss of the level, some level have multiple missions.

When you complete the level you can return to your base where you can sell your loor, repair the one you used or upgrade your statistic paying golds. I remember there are 3 characters or 4, the one i always choosed was a white haired dude, since his stats where the most balanced. The game was sold in some kind of collection of other games and i played it with my Pentium III. I believe it had Alien on the name but i am not sure since i searched every kind of alien games but i couldn't find it.

Thanks for everybody that reads it and can give some help

( 2 POST, EDITED )

I need help trying to remember a old space sim game
It wasn't 3D or actual combat, but it had strategy, you could visit stations or planets, and each system had a lot of planets ( with a lot of system logically )
There were 4 Faction, all humans but with different ideals
( The Federation, The Rebels, and other two that focused on Mafia and Trades )
The combat was simples, two ships on each side, you would chose your action ( Fire, Advance, Board, etc )
I remember well, during Board the game would change to strategy combat, with my troops taking each part of the ship one by one ( it was very rare to actually reach the bridge and seize control, because of the unique Combat Machines, even tough I was full Marines )
What else...
The space was like a screen with points, some of them were planets, others were stations, and others were ships ( you would instantly reach the point where you clicked, on a planet/station to trade, quest, etc OR a ships to either speak or engage )
There were also certain jumpgate that would lead you to another galaxy ( as I said, the game was simple but quite big )

There was also a sequel to that game where you could create your own Pirate Faction and effectively try to seize control of the entire universe ( tough I never found out HOW to create my own faction actually )
Hmm, I want to say the Escape Velocity series, but there are some points that don't match.

The factions sorta match, there is Federation, Rebels, Pirates, you could be unaffiliated and trade, but also had oddball ones like a low(er) tech warrior faction, a super high tech isolated faction, and an enslaved psychic faction.

The combat doesn't seem to match your description however, in EV it was basically just like asteroids, click to fire weapons in front of you, although you could board ships with marines and take them over (also rare to seize control).

Travel was sorta instant, in a warp jump method, but was limited by your jump range, and you couldn't warp to/from a planet or station but rather near it. I believe there were jumpgates, though i don't know if there were other galaxies.

I don't know if the originals had it, but in the sequel Escape Velocity Nova, you could conquer systems by having a high combat rating, hailing the station/planet, and demanding tribute. They would send a ton of ships to kill you, but if you won it was yours.

Not quite, seems interesting tough, but that's not it

There were only 2 games, a I think the sequel was released in 2002 maybe
This is so annoying, I can picture the game in my head even XD
Other stuff I remember is:
- The game was pretty small, to the point I was able to install it on my pen and literally take it anywhere and play ( even the saved/load were on the pen, pen which files all became corrupted I think ? " Recovery File " hundreds of those )
- You could retire yourself and the game would evaluate what you did or not and write your epilogue ( kinda like M&B ), for example, I always failed to subdue the Federation as a Rebel -.-
- In the ship you owned, your crew could be Pilots, Marines, Pirates, Mechas, all with their own skills, for example the ship could not move if 10% of the crew wasn't Pilots, and yet a single Marine could kill ~10 of them on Board
Pirates had both Pilots and Marines roles, although on inferior grade ( I can't remember the point of recruiting them tough XD )
- The bigger and more advanced the ship, the more tech it had, something I really loved was firing the Torpedoes, and since the battle was like the 2 ships on each side, and 3 spaces apart, it was funny to see the Torpedo getting closer and closer to the enemy, although when I intended to board, I had to move closer and risk taking a torpedo right in the face XD

First time posting, and I've been wracking my brains trying to find this one.

This was an educational PC Game, my best estimate is between 1995-2000, I had it roughly the same time as Bill Nye: Stop the Rock! This game was devoted entirely to inventions, and one thing I remember about the intro was that the main character's name was Howard. The intro was something along the lines of a dramatic narrator saying, "Since the beginning of time, man [made a bunch of stuff, goes on to list a bunch of inventors] Edison... Tesla... Howard... *screech* Howard?!" And then Howard would say something witty, then the intro broke into a 90s rock instrumental before the main menu booted up. The graphics I guess were pre-rendered made to look like 3D images, but everything was from a static camera. Also it wasn't especially colorful like most educational games.

Anyways, there are three minigames in particular I remember:

The first was the garage, where you could build cars or planes. Both had you drag & drop parts based on real world vehicles onto a blueprint; I remember making a frankenvehicle from a space shuttle and a F-117. When you were finished, the vehicle would materialize on the platform like it was Star Trek. Then you could test the vehicle as a robot pilot would try not to crash it through nine different worlds. The flight path/road was always the same, the vehicle would simply crash at a certain point if you didn't build it correctly.

The second minigame was like the first, only instead of a vehicle you built what I can only describe as a kind of mouse maze. You had to get the mouse to the goal at the end using the parts available to you, which included conveyor belts and elevators, and all of the parts had to be connected to a motor and battery by using axles and gears.

The third minigame took place in a scrapyard, and you had to build an appliance by putting the correct parts onto a schematic. A robot arm would pull the parts up from the scrap heap, and if you got the right combination it would play an animation where the appliance would do its thing. One of the simpler ones was a vacuum cleaner, and one of the harder ones was a robot DJ.

If your invention tested successfully, you could go down to the patent office and Howard would type out a patent for you, which you could then print out.
I'm starting to think I'm the only person who knows this game exists... anyway, I'm trying to remember a few more details. I think there might have been some other activities mostly related to the history of inventions, but I never really spent any time on that stuff. Also, I should probably describe what Howard looked like, if that helps: wore glasses, a white lab coat, red tie, and had black hair that came in a ponytail. Most of the time he was just a face in a circle in the upper left or right corner, where he'd give you advice on different things, but you saw his whole body in the patent office.

EDIT: Found it! It's called Invention Studio.

So i have 2 games i have played but cannot find references to anywhere.
Game #1: Medieval hack n slash. single player on pc (i think). around the year 2000ish. top down i believe. graphics were pretty bad. you were able to manual save or would auto save at certain points. only other thing i can remmeber was picking up and equipping this cursed sword and once equipped you could never remove it, although you could go back to a previous save point.
Game 2: around 2000ish but before 2006. you ran around on this alien planet killing things. when you killed enough you could transform into a blob thing. all i can remember because i got stuck and never could get anywhere after i turned into the blob.
Any help would be amazing. :)

I remember this DOS platformer I used to play. The character was a creature with something like a hydraulic cylinder for a body, so it could gain some height and e.g. reach the ceiling.

I hope someone can help me find it, I've made a collection of my childhood games but this I simply can't find. THX!

Not sure if someone mentioned this, if so, I'm sorry, since I'm new here, but I remember playing a few games when I was young on my sister's computer (back in 2000), mostly Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Supaplex, but the third one I can' remember its name. That one was basically a 2D platformer, 8-bit(ish), and it was kind of in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and I know two of the maps, one was a desert and the other a science lab (which one of the objectives for the second map was to help rescuing a disabled scientist or some sort, I thought he resembled Dr. Xavier from X-Men). By the way, you could choose between two characters, Henry (I believe) and Diana. I tried to search in a few ways and I couldn't figured it out (of course finding Supaplex wasn't that hard, but the one I described...). If anyone can figure it out, I really appreciate :)

Hi everyone.

Been looking at Youtube for the past 2 hours for a game I played decades ago. I remember it so vaguely that it might not even exist and it could all just be my imagination.

The game should be released around 1990 or earlier. The graphics are very similar to Test Drive 3. It's a FPS + "point-and-click"(??? Don't know the name of the genre. But like Indiana Jones : Fate of the Atlantis) set in medieval/fantasy(I could be wrong). I don't remember what the character looks like, nor what the UI looks like. The FPS portion of the game looks like what I said, Test Drive 3. Green plains and wide open space. The character moves REALLY fast and shoots some sort of thin red laser. The only enemy I remember were birds/ravens that were very simply drawn like sticks. It's FPS where I really get to control where I want to go, almost like open-world. NOT the D&D Eye of the Beholder type movement.

Then I enter a dimly-lit castle/building and it becomes "point-and-click". I remember it looking like Kings Quest, maybe a little newer and better. Then it the next room there is like a huge pair of eyes on the wall that shoots me with laser and I just die there(this part may not even exist).

I know there's not a lot to work with, but you guys have to help me. I am going crazy. It's probably a horrible game and I won't play it more than 2 minutes if I ever find it, but I just HAVE to know.
I don't remember the laser bit, but otherwise your description reminds me of Drakkhen [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqnfWq8NpBY].
LOL Yes that's it! Thank you so much! I watched more videos and the pair of eyes that killed me with the laser was the damned dog! Funny how the past were just fragments of memories that were so vague. And I've watched so many "80's and 90's video games" but none of them mentioned Drakkhen. Why is it never mentioned at all?

It was a Sega or NeoGeo game, had 3 characters only, a dinosaur, a gorilla and a huge lizard I guess. The task was to destroy the city, climbing buildings, eating people, fighting each other. Cannot remember the name. Please help!

I'm thinking either Rampage World Tour [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVJWUi3jM8o], which was also on the Saturn, or King of the Monsters 2 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzcGFbUBWhY] for the NeoGeo.

Hello there!

Pardon me ahead of time - cause my memories are sort of vague. But there's two games I've been looking for. What I do know is that they were both rpgs for the PC, and I had originally found them on Yahoo Games when I was younger. I believe they were also in a series, one of which was the sequel.

One, your character started off as a servant and was female, iirc - but after finding out about something (some power you had, I believe) you set off on your own.

The other game which I think was the sequel - there were two characters traveling together, at least in the beginning. One was able to shapeshift I believe, and you had to get orbs/totems/statuettes of some sort to gain new forms - and one was found in a cave, where you had to trick a monster into a cage to trap it, so you could safely get past.

I also vaguely recalled a scene where there was a cave with petrified creatures around it. If you went into the cave without the proper equipment, you would be lured in by something singing, and it would petrify you, too, causing a game over. However, you could use something to plug your ears, and a mirror to protect you from the creature's gaze.

Another scene, towards the beginning, was in a castle with an ice queen, I believe.

Thank you!

What I'm looking for is an old platform game i played as a child on my old Macintosh computer.
In this game you play as a small fat American guy with a big belly. The objective of the game is to save your monster friends(?) that some how got spread out over the states of America (In some kind of explosion?).
Each level is a normal platformer game where you get a chance to save one of your monster friends in the end ( you can fail this and still continue to another state without saving that specific monster).
The hero was dressed in cloths that had the American flag on them and had some kind of belly attack.
Also i think the hero was traveling in some kind of trailer but I'm unsure about this.
I hope someone will remember this gem :)

hi its me again
i remember a PC RTS game i think i was playing with some brown mud creatures and move around with them and find other mud creatures with other colors i go and kill them and usually i find some loot or a glove which can destroy stones which are in my way i loved it very much and i wish if any one can help me to remember it's name it's a PC RTS game
-the game was created before 2008
-it was nearly 3D and not very high in graphics
