Im looking for an old game for pc. cant remember the releasement date but maybe is late 90's early 2000's.
is a space shooter game, like demonstar or laser age but in 3d, not a 2d game like that 2 games.
i remember this things about the game:
-if you execute the game, you can see how your monitor screen breaks (shatter) and then the game start (is like the game take a screenshot and then break the imagen/picture and then start)
-the point of view is in 3rd person (if I'm not wrong).
-very very colorful, the spaceship/spacecraft color is grey and if you shoot you can see green beams and/or red beams/lasers.
-im not sure about this but part of the name have the word "Mars" (like the planet) and if i remember well the name is something like "reach to mars" or "trip to mars".
-and maybe the game is an endless game. infinite levels but im not sure.
-you can go up,down, left and right and the spaceship move alone to forward (im not sure about this).
probably Captain Forever or Captain Forever Remix.Logan Howlett said:Okay I've been looking for this game for like three years now, You started off as like a one square spaceship with a crappy gun and engine and as you defeated other ships you could take the squares that made them up to upgrade your own ship. I remember that the weakest pieces were green or yellow and that turning was a major pain due to the need to match up the amount of thrusters your scavenged and how powerful they were on each side.
Anyone know the game I'm talking about?
Probably ClockWerx AKA Ultimate Spin Doctor.night_raven187 said:I have been searching for a game that was on the Mac in the mid 90s. It was a grid of orbs with a single bar attached to one of the orbs. The object was to transfer that bar across the board by hitting the spacebar from orb to orb while avoiding various obstacles.
Can't possibly be. Bulletstorm was released in 2011. The game I'm remembering was for the OG Xbox, so it was probably released sometime around 2003 or 2004.creatura_90 said:That just might be Bulletstorm. I might be wrong though.Yuli Ban said:There's an Xbox game on the brain: it was this third-person shooter with a couple of burly protagonists in sci-fi suits (?), and I believe it started with a shooting in a mall. I remember that one of the weapons was an electrical grenade. Also, there was a cutscene full of explosions where they're screaming "Oh shiiii~iiit!" or something of the sort. The ending had a "where are they now?" montage.
Answerin' my own post.Yuli Ban said:I remember this one NES title that was some sort of fantasy game, with a side-scrolling portion (a sizable portion of the game, IIRC, with a section in a vertical forest) and a top-down portion. It kicked my balls back in the day, but I've always been fascinated with it and I could never quite find out its name. Considering I've been on a bit of a nostalgia kick lately, it's driving me insane, especially because I can't quite recall if it was a popular and significant title or if it was one of those obscure games only a handful of people have played.
I'd imagine that was Journey [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2h-bCOI4WU]. =Ddrdorken said:Hey all.
This is a loooong shot, but I can't get this game out of my mind.
I played an arcade game in the early to mid 90s at the lodge at Cumberland Falls in KY.
This game was... weird. It was a top down type game. You could pick up a guitar and shoot with it (I guess it was music notes maybe?). I think the game was rock and roll based.
I remember there was a stage that was a frogger clone.
Final thing I remember was the fact that the character you played as had a grey face...

oh my god. you got it. watching it on youtube now with tears in my eyes. I can't believe it.Midwoka said:I'd imagine that was Journey [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2h-bCOI4WU]. =Ddrdorken said:Hey all.
