I think I'm right screwed. I have to defend myself against a Charizard now!? He'd set me on fire than gut me with his claws! I think that would be a very painful way to die.

On the other hand if I manage to kill him I can take his skin and claws and make armor and weapons out of them which I can use to hunt bigger Pokemon which I can then use to make better armor.

If pokemon was a western RPG.

Dragonite would mean I'm toast, both literally and figuratively. No real way to take out a flying dragon.

Meloetta I could try and take out the voice by choking or karate chop (assuming I don't get psychic'd), but then it can change form to fighting and just decimate me.

That was what I was thinking. I know many people question why my favorite is Butterfree, but as least it was one of the most powerful bug pokemon in Gen 1, Magikarp didn't do anything for 20 levels, unless you made splash run out of PP and had it struggle for a while.
