I think he was fine up until he disrespected the officers, but why in the world would SWAT be on it? It's not the damn movies, policemen are actually compitent.

Maybe it's a particularly dangerous neighborhood where people are known to have weapons or something along those lines.

Nah, it makes sense. They were probably talking to him at his front door, not inside his home. They probably wanted to go in after he started getting tetchy, he got madder and refused, then slammed the door.

I wouldn't let them into my house either. They would probably say I slammed the door in their faces as well, because after telling them to go away nicely a couple of times I would shut the door and go back to what I was doing.

Heh, see I would never do that (at least, not in the US). Namely because I'm Black and the cops might shoot me. Since I would prefer not being a police brutality statistic, I'd do what the cops say.

I'd go the "wide-eyed-Southern-girl" route. It's gotten me out of tickets and other problems before, and it's amazing what thickening the accent and looking wide-eyed and overwhelmed with a hint of a pout while being overly helpful can do (once had a cop take BACK the speeding ticket he had just written and write "VOID" on it, and tell me to go on home). More flies with honey, and all that. XD

After getting fucking slammed by Zedonius 50 times in a row, I can sympathise with this chap. Though it's usually a good idea to take out your frustration on the nearest wall or sibling instead of the cops.
