*facepalm* why oh dear WHY did this even happen??

educational Action games are the best way to learn.

DnD teaches math

RPGs teaches proper Morals

Simulators teach technical skills,

Shooters teach basic hand eye coordination

DDR makes fat kids thin.

lol you know why companies these days are flailing in the economy? because they refuse to upgrade with the times. parents need to be the same and upgrade with the times. They weren't taught the same as they parents or grandparents were. get over it

No. Fucking. Way. That is some insight she's got there.

Of course it's not the educational value the kids love, jesus christ. If the kids loved the educational value, you wouldn't need to be putting them on a video game that intergrates it in the first place.
I love how these parents are proof that you need public schools.

"They were all excited... because of the violence..."

Yes, they should be lifeless cadavers with no emotion that sit limply in a chair while staring at a wall.

Kids these days with their rock n' roll, and their iPhones, and their children's card games, and their motorcycles, and their video games, and their computers, and their mathematics, and their self-expression, and their ability to formulate independent thoughts and opinions, and their...

Lol well of course they like the game because of it's action, they're not going to be excited by the prospect of doing equations...

I wrote a paper on this once. Not this event but the idea of using video games in schools and job training. Now we have a working example (outside the military) and people are going to complain about the fact they exist? Sigh . . .

They hate video games so much that even though they are teaching their kids they hate it. This proves that no matter what gaming won't be accepted by some people which is pathetic and makes them very much like republicans.

Parents really have nothing to ***** about. They fail at being parents so they have to make a big stink about other people parenting their kids better.
I think using games is an awesome idea. The US is becoming a nation of enablers, so why not enable in a way that it actually does some good.

I'm hoping that this kind of ignorance will die out with the baby boomers. All those old crotchety people will never get it. Of course, every generation will have it's bulk of ignorance, but hey, perchance to dream, right?

Remember the time when all parents complained that "Movies are corrupting the youth!". The time will come when games will no longer be an issue, until then we can all laugh and feel superior to these mouthbreathers who really have nothing better to do with their time.

Parents are always upset. Fuck them. Besides, just because they do not talk about it, does not mean they do not know it. Some things I learned, I did not even realize I learned.
Why is it the idiots are the parents who try to "get invovled"?

They are far less benefitial games to complain about... ffs just because gta and modern warfare would seem like joining the bandwagon, doesn't mean you have to go for a game that that is actually useful.
