Well when it comes to a contest like this the PC crowd has the ability to make servers that farmed the heck out of a contest like this. Would've been more interesting if they looked for and shut down and didn't count the farming servers like they did for the TF2 WAR update for Soldier/Demoman kills.

I'm not sure if this is the same on the PS3, but I've noticed that you only have the ability to communicate with your 4-man squad when playing Rush or Conquest on the 360 - I'm fairly certain that PC users would be able to use alternatives for communication (Skype, X-fire, etc.)- and thus would be able to better coordinate as a team than their unfortunate console counterparts - whom have no choice but to play their games as independent groups of 2-4 man squads that can't communicate with the rest of the team. It may not be a huge issue, but I don't think it can be ruled out as a factor...
Yes, because the entire PC crowd opens Ventrilo when they play their videogames. It's all an elaborate conspiracy by the PC gaming master race to beat the console crowd at unlocking a map. :/

Or maybe it's the fact that every time I see someone walk up to a hotzone, he or she drops a support kit like ammunition, and a medkit to heal. When I played BC2 on consoles, they just played BC2 like they played Call of Duty, run n' gun, then wonder where their killstreaks went.
Don't take everything so personally - I simply said that it can't be ruled out as a factor. For the record, I play BBC2 on LIVE, and I can definitely attest to the lack of teamwork - it's literally my single point of frustration, and I have mixed feelings on being able to communicate with the entire team. On one hand, there's a chance of enhancing teamwork and coordination; On the other, you can actually have much less of it because of the sheer amount of trash-talking and insults that will inevitably be unleashed.

Reminds me of the time I first played medic. I'm pretty sure I was doing it wrong because it felt so easy. I was on Port Valdez and sat at a small hill on the side of the road with a handful of snipers and assaults. While they were taking shots I just dropped down some medpacks and watched the numbers fly. When they actually started dying, I sprinted over to their corpse and shocked them back into the action. They must've been mad considering I was probably restricting their ability to repick a class and spawn, but the 50 points is hard to turn down. I've had people do it wrong though, as I have been spawncamped multiple times where a medic runs over to my freshly gunned-down corpse and revives me, only to realize that the person who killed me is standing right in front of him. We both get shot up and the killer runs off with 150 points.

The physics in the game are what takes such power.
Agreed. Once I set my resolution down from 1440x900(my native), to 1280x800, the game ran fine with all medium settings. The only lag that I tested came from 6 C4's blowing up a bridge in "No one get's left behind."

I imagine that this has more to do with how PC players play the game than the number of people playing it. Console people just don't tend to be as team friendly.

i think pc just calls in a diffrent crowd, i mean with consoles everything is plug and play and most games tend to be racing, first person shooters or simulated murder fantasies (e.g. gta)its easier to use and requiers less thought thus there are alot younger gamers who just want to kill and piss off everything that moves. While on pc everything takes more time and thought (to build a gaming pc, to install the game)which may raise the average pc gamers age. also alot of the games are very stragtagy heavy and thanks to long established teamspeak or skype (which exists mainly for the use of communication and teamwork and while on consoles these type of channels are used for the vituperative depictions of the opponents mother) pc players have just learned to work with, instead of teabagging each other :D

and yes, i use a pc and game on it. so you have all rights to call me baised, but in the end we still won the battle for hastings so HAHA!

The funny thing is PC has half the hours, but double the team score.

(rubs chin) So, the stereotypes are true!

The game sold 2.7 million on xbox 360, 2 million on ps3.
How many sold on PC? 310 thousand. This from VGChartz

310 thousand players bested 4.7 million?

That is pathetic. This means that PC players truly have way more skills. It's all down to the controller.

Too bad skills don't pay the bills.
It is not about the controller in this case. Each of the support actions can be easily accomplished on a game pad as they do not require skill or timing to accomplish.

To me, this just speaks to the problem inherent to playing on XBL or PSN. Because of the overwhelmingly negative experience I've had over the years, I am not going to bother talking to people in the game. As such, I do my best to play the game that interests me. I will not participate in a strategy when it is not obvious what is being attempted.

When I play on my 360, I'm interested in being entertained and I don't really care about the ultimate success or failure of the team. I literally have nothing at stake there. In a PC game on the other hand, eventually I get to know the people I play with. And when you actually know the people you play with, suddenly it starts to matter if they are having fun. Without that connection, I'm just playing for myself against particularly clever robots.

Guess PC Gamers wanted to try a bit harder. I could help with that if Bad Company 2 didn't have blood in it... YOU LOST 1 CUSTOMER WHO LOVES BAD COMPANY DICE!

I guess it's far more popular on the PC, being that console owners haven't even reached a quarter and arguably not even half combined.
You barely notice the blood... I actually cant remember seeing any blood at all - only dust.

Damn I didn't think that we are THAT late on Xbox. I usually like to play as a medic so I get a heckload of points and I'm really wondering that why is the score so low. Well at least in my experience people should start learning BF:BC 2. I mean when you have 11 snipers banging each other in the starting area and I'm the only one trying to attack, I almost start crying. Seriously guys....The only fucking way to win at that game is teamwork. And thats why I mostly play this game with at least three of my friends in the same squad. At least something gets done. Maybe I'm being a bit unfair and I've been in many games that the team really plays well but...

Blood makes the age rating R16 which I'm not allowed to play on. Luckily, this year everything changes!

Hmm It probably has a gore setting, but I applaud your parents discretion.

Because you're a big boy now? Congratulations.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Why would it change? Is it a change in the law?
Nah I laughed :p; it's because my parents are allowing me now. It's a long story so let's keep it short >.>

I would have gotten that game, if it wasn't for all those ridiculous unlock systems they're trying to slap into games nowadays
