and of course the stat support on PS3 is so borked i have no idea how many kills i have with anything.

This happens with the 360 version as well. Don't worry, you're not alone. I assume it probably happens with the PC as well due to the support teams and not the game/console itself. EA support though actually does a good job. They have been fully aware of the problem and your stats are constantly saved through a backup file. When there's any negative disparages, the backup file which just keeps saving all your stats, will fix it. It might take a match, an hour or two, maybe even a day. However, you're not getting rooked.

i know Dice/EA support do a good job usualy but its been happening on and off since i bought Onslaught Mode and its been pretty much permanent all week since i bought Vietnam

Anyway, I nearly owned BFBC2/vietnam, Steam tempted me with a 6$ but I resisted. I do like this statistic though.

Damn it, I'm separated from my PS3 or else PS3 would have a million more hehe. I spot when I snipe, drop motion detectors, I drop ammo boxes as assualt, revive and drop health as a medic, repair as an engineer. The game is way more fun when you play in an unselfish way.

In NZ, the prime reason for restricting a game is blood. Although if it's RTS it can make exceptions (or it's rated M in Austrailia) but for shooters, blood=R16.

Not allowed to play Restricted Games, and so what I'm saying is that if they removed the blood it would be 'M' and I'd be able to buy it as I planned to.

well console gamers like myself tend towards the lonewolf/totalshithead style of play. (by the second one i mean the guys who jump in front of your line of fire shooting at you for no reaseon other than to make sure the enemy sees you and kills you both.)

this leads to people either running away from medkits and ammo boxes, NEVER SPOTTING ANYONE!! (seriously is the "Select" button broken or something?), playing "Teh Lone Snipah" and generally costing you the game

EDIT: sorry bout the general BC2:Vietnam rant there guys...

A quick fix I've found for the level bug is to sign out of PSN, quit the game, start it back up and sign back into PSN. Usually works, might have to repeat it a few times.

OT: Not surprised at all. I expected PC to get it first, along with all the rabid fanboys going on and on about it once it happened.

I guess theres alot more people playing it on PC at the moment, as theres hardly anyone oline on the PS3, idk about 360
Or console players mostly play it like COD and dont do any squad actions, which is rather annoyingly believable
