Amnesia the dark decent or Mafia 2 if you are looking for good singleplayer experiences, Team Fortress 2 if you are looking for a great multiplayer game at a great price. I would suggest you steer clear of Halo 1 and 2 on PC, they are just lazy ports IMO.

Incidentually, I heard that Halo 2 PC was a crappy port. Halo 1 PC was done be Gearbox, which should say enough.

Second the STALKER recommendation, good stuff. Also, Oblivion modded is apparently very good.

At the moment I feel like im in a bit of a dry spell when it comes to games, So I'm looking for sugestions, though I think I might just wait for Fallout New vegas

Heres the games I've already played/in the process of playing

Bioshock 1 and 2
Borderlands
Assasins creed 1 and 2
Mass effect 1 and 2
Dead space
Farcry 2
Dragon age
Orange box
F.E.A.R. 2
Batman arkum asylum
Fallout 3

Heres a few I've thourght of getting but still can't decide

Halo 1 or 2 hmm mabye not
Fable only really heard how overated it was
Oblivion not such a fan of high fantasy, especially with the mechanics of fallout 3
Darksiders- a little expensive for me right now
The witcher I get the impression its a little mysoginist (more than usual )
there are few older titles I wanna get but am havign trouble finding

Anyway I welcome any sugestions, and resons why those games are good, I will play most genres also weather or not I shoudl get the games listed above

I also have a Ps2 so any sugestions for that are welcome too

EDIT: I actually do have deus ex and yes it is amazing, though there somthing about the graphics that creep me out, I think they bring back childhood memories of watching violent videogames and getting nightmares....
metro 2033 is good if your comp can handle it (absolutely beautiful on a GTX480)
from your list, id also recommend stalker series (make sure you install the complete mod to make the game look and act much better)

L4D with a controller? ....No. You go home now.

PC games i'd suggest though:

Rome and Medieval Total War.
Mechwarrior 4
Painkiller
Sacred 1 and 2
World in Conflict
and Star Trek Bridge Commander. (Really. Why not?)

I've had endless amounts of fun with all of them :D
Heh Bridge Commander. I have that one installed currently. I highly suggest browsing http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/ if you do so.
