People do this all the time.

Just get to level 15 through professions and exploring then Queue as a healer until level 85.

In my book healing allies while they kill enemies isn't killing enemies
She didn't partake in any killing or even supported or healed those that were killing. She got to max level completely through exploration and crafting.
Yea she coulda just healed. Would have been the same in my book.

Not in her book. She strived for more. To do something no one else has done just to be able to say she's done it.

I'm reminded of the time that someone asked for more vegan recipes on the WoW forums.

The immediate response was "that would be great, if, y'know, the whole game didn't revolve around killing things".
Haha, why would anyone even care about having vegan recipes or not! Just buy from Tauren vendors! eat bread!

The hardest part of that would be not killing critters. Seriously i crush every rabbit, sheep and bug that strays into my path.

Don't you all see? She was killing the poor plants all the time! Herbalism is a sin! Freedom to plants! FREEDOM, I SAY!

That is really, really impressive. I wonder how long it took. I know it said she'd played since '04, but it didn't specify when this character was made.

Yes hence "in my book"

OT: Kudos to her though, it is quite an accomplishment.

Blizzard should put in a feat of strength achievement, along with a title to go with it - say, "The Pacifist", and apply it to this character.

It'd be fun watching people try and get the feat - I'm not sure there is room in the asylums, though. :p

I did most of 60-70 mining and 75-80 mining/archaeology so I don't find it to be unthinkable.

"Everbloom of Feathermoon"?

I suspect someone is taking the piss. Well, that or taking themselves way too seriously.

Probably the latter, given the context.

That's both extremely impressive and so very, very sad.
Why? The last thing that kept me playing WOW was exploring the world.

But after a while i realized that anyone can and will foce you to use the awfull, repetetive and boring (in my oppinion of course) battle system, and so i finally quit it.
I find all achievements to be pretty sad. It's as if people think that by accomplishing something in a game they can validate the time they put into it. To think that this girl/guy spent seven years working towards something that will give her/him a few days of internet fame makes me feel bad.

I realize that the internet fame wasn't the actual goal and we can only speculate as to why this person decided to invest an ungodly amount of time (and money) playing a game contrary to the way the developers intended (I don't think you can argue that). Regardless of how sad this makes me, it's still very impressive and I think it's cool that someone actually did this. I just don't believe that the emotional or mental payoff from reaching that milestone can possibly be worth the investment.
I think you see this the wrong way.

I would say she achieved it cause that's how she wanted to play the game.
Also no one says that she doesn't have any altermnative characters.

Oh yeah and one more thing. When i played WOW there were no achievements. I just liked exploring the world for it's own sake. ^.^
