I stopped playing Halo 3 becaue people kept on killing me for my sniper rifle or for my sniper ammo. I rocked with the sniper, and whoever killed me always sucked with it.

Two kinds of people.
A. whiners- just gets annoying.
B. People who don't even give people a chance- yes it's a game and yes I can understand that if I'm in front of you, you should shoot me. But you don't need to run around my base with a rocket launcher, an AK47, a flame thrower, and grenades when all I spawn with is a knife and a pistol.
Ex. In warhawk, I joined a game where the other team was dominating. When I spawned I had the choise of running around till a clusterbomb was dropped on my head, or getting in a plane and not flying 5 feet before I had nine missles locked on my ass. You're already beating us 97-12 in a game that goes to 100. Why not give us a chance and make the game last longer!

I like the people that have music playing so obnoxiously loud that their headsets can pick it up. Normally this would not bother me but it always seems to be rap music and that is simply not my prefrence.
Also dislike people who feel Xbox live is the appropriate place to debate politics, and sexual preference. I mean separated there tolerable but together there unbearable.

Rambo clones, by far. You know, the ones who have absolutely no sense in tactical approaches and decide that rushing into a clearing full of enemies while on full auto spinning in circles will get the job done? And also guys that take the games too seriously by thinking that the number of kills they get in a match make them the biggest badass in the world.
The only people I can't stand are good snipers. No offense to ya, I'm sure you spend a lot of time and effort getting that good, but god-damn it I hate you.
I don't know how many streaks as medic have been brought down by that snipey son-of-a-*****. He's I think the one class you can't fight against, and that makes the deaths so much more annoying.

I'm a TF2 addict, and I don't like snipers who camp in one spot and only shoot soldiers and heavies because they're the easiest targets. I don't like demomen who place stickies around an entrance and then just camp there waiting for someone to walk in. Any game that has vehicles has the person I hate in it the "Hijacker" as I like to call him heres an example Im playing BF:BC im in the Heli by myself im racking up the kills when I notice someone has spawned in my gunner seat fair enough I start to take damage so I land and begin to repair my chopper when I hear the blades begin to spin and the guy that was in my gunner seat decides to leave me and go pick up his friend thus leaving me in the middle of a field nowhere near the action.
Pretty much anyone who talks tough, but can't back it up. Maybe for some people it's satisfying to beat up on them, but for me it's disappointing as hell because I was expecting a serious challenge. I'd say the worst example was someone who told me he was "a freakin' GOD at Brawl"...and when the match started, he says "How do you jump again?" (Note that I had all 3 varieties of control schemes available and offered him a choice.)
People who try to emulate the rap subculture. I don't know if you're aware of this, but I only understand a language called English, not whatever the hell you're speaking.
People who seem to think that they comprise the entire heterosexual population of the people involved in the match they're playing and that this makes them better than everyone else. I tend to find that the best way to deal with these homophobic pricks is to simply respond to their accusations with "Then I assume you're interested?" That shuts them right up, though it definitely reminds me of the fact that the human race has sunk lower than the Grand Canyon.
People who hold grudges based on the game. In Perfect Dark, I once faced someone in a 2 vs. 2 team battle, whom my team defeated quite cleanly. Next round, he was on my team, and he proceeds to repeatedly shoot me despite this, bringing down our team score in the process. Just because he lost to me before. I actually had to use N-bombs on my teammate to blur up his screen to hell before going after the opposing team with no help from my "ally". Though that has become a favorite match in retrospect...because I still won. ^_^;

i hate people who accuse me of cheating and/or sucking when im winning or have just won.

I'm kinda wondering what you guys are talking about with all of the 13 year olds with mics. Are you guys talking about consoles? If so, I'm SO GLAD I use TS/Vent servers that don't allow kids. Personally, I don't care if you're the world's most mature 13 year old. I just want to hear your squeeky voice.
Now the only problem is with you 13 year olds is that you curse and QQ yourself into hell so much it makes the Mic redundant. The mic is supposed to be used for tatics and a possible cup of tea! Now I also understand that puberty (ewww!) hasn't happened yet and your kinda stuck until then. Fine, but god dammit when you blab on about some guy that was killed 10 rounds ago then that's just plain stupid.
Snipers have a much harder time of playing because they have to remember where they are, who is nearby, where are the opposite team located in relation to yourself, and to stay unnoticed for atleast 4 headshots. All the while people are running around and believe that a sniper is nothing more than quote, "N00bZ SnIpEr! Kill Da Suckar!"

However if you pulled off something that Chuck Norris would awe at and Jesus would crawl to kiss your feet then fine, brag away (Sample: You chuck grenade, pull out pistol and headshot 8 guys while the grenade heads infront of you and then kills 3 snipers, then as you pull away, you flash 3 guys, headshot them with an uzi from 50 meters and then stab 5 guys in a row. If you pull this off then man 1. you have no life 2. Mini-god?)

Reading a few post and jumping into this blindly. Here is a list of what i hate!
Whiners, i hate the people who whine in game via text or over mic. The guy or kid who is bitching cause some sniper picked his head because he didn't have enough sense to hide it. The guy that complains about the camper that is defending his objective and has a good vantage point to kill you.
Braggers, The sniper who dinked off my head and felt that he needed to tell me all about the experiance incase i had blinked and missed out on it. The guy who ran in behind me and gunned me down before i could go "Oh shi-" and decided that because he had the jump on me that makes him "Uber l337".
12 year olds! Now don't get me wrong, I game with people of all ages! I know a guy who is in his 60's and plays games with me and i have a buddy who is 11 and kicks my ass in games.

I'm a calm gamer.. i play for fun and things don't bother me often... but if you want to brag don't do it for every single kill.. Don't whine cause no one wants to hear it.. and if you're young it is cool that you game but watch your mouth, it is annoying and constant cussing is not cool.. just annoying.

I can't tell you are a child online until you open your mouth and blast me with primary school insults, so unless you do as such, you will be tolerated. Don't complain about people such as myself discussing the annoyance that is children online when you shouldn't be playing MA15 games in the first place. I agree. Players who boast and belittle other players who they see as being beneath them drive me nuts. That's one reason I don't play multiplayer with voice chat enabled. I stick with good ole typing. Some of the boasts and put downs on multiplayer games that are typed are bad enough, but most aren't as bad as the ones I heard before I quit listening to the voice chat. I prefer to snipe for three reasons: I'm much better at sniping than I am at close quarters combat because of my slow reflexes; I find that I can provide cover for my teammates in team-based multiplayer and thus be a valuable member of the team and like another poster said a good sniper doesn't sit in one spot the whole match, you sneak around and shoot from different spots and sneaking is really fun (especially when you sneak up on some boastful player and blow his head off without him even knowing you are there).
