PETA's Pokemon Parody Battles Animal Abuse

I slept with a vegetarian a couple of times last month. She didn't eat meat, but she sure liked the bone.

Apparently, she watched some of those PETA animal torture videos (which some have been proven to be staged by members) and got really turned off of eating meat. I wouldn't blame her; those videos are pretty tough to watch.

Anyways, our relationship didn't last long because I like to be a healthy individual who eats meat, and she wanted me to text her (I accidentally laughed in her face when she asked me to, oops). I'm not a fan of texting. And I didn't want to put that much effort into keeping her around. Nice girl and everything, just dumb as a post (see: vegetarian).

I have no problems with vegetarians. Its the hardcore vegans I have problem with. I mean this one time I was eating a pepperoni pizza in Union Square with a friend. When me and her were mobbed by a bunch of vegans for daring to eat meat.

That's not true. Fries are murder! Potato rights now!
You, sir, win the topic. Forever.

Yeah... I might get around to playing the PETA parody just because it exists now... but I don't expect to be exactly taken in by their message.

Oh, PeTA. You've come so far from handing out comic books [http://suitablyflip.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/peta.jpg] that tried to convince kids that Dad was a serial killer because he went fishing on the weekends.

Oh, wait, no, you haven't.

PETA complains about people eating animals, and rallies against it. However I have yet to see them target the animals themselves. When are they going to demand that animals treat each other the way they want humans to treat animals? I'd like to see them try to force a tiger to go vegan.
Indeed.

I don't see why so many people are complaining, this is exactly the sort of thing PETA should be doing to promote their message. I thought that the reason everyone hated PETA was because of all the harmful things they did in the name of their cause, rather than the cause itself. Somehow I can't bring myself to feel that promoting veganism and decrying factory farming is inherently evil.
Their message is if you have a puppy that loves you and you love. Whom you take care of and feed. Pet and play with. Give it treats when it behaves, and punish in reasonable ways when it doesn't. A poor defenseless animal that couldn't take care of itself in the wild and whose company you enjoy and is ecstatic to see you come home.
You're a vile evil sinner who should be purged. That animal deserves better than what you give it!

If you take medicine which was developed via animal testing, like insulin. Or had a procedure like organ transplant. If these things saved your life.
You should have died. Your life is less valuable than the rats they experimented on.

That's PETA's message. So, yes. I fucking condemn that message.

I condemn the group that funds arsonists to firebomb testing faculties. I condemn people who would state that they don't "condemn or condone violence against animal rights violators, but they understand it." I condemn them with every fiber in my being.

PETA is not an animal rights group. It's a group of extremists. It's a hate group, in my book. Their supporters are the type who see no problem with threatening the lives of children simply because their parents hunt and support hunting.

Oh, yeah, PETA is against hunting. Let me inform you that deer hunting is needed to keep deer populations in check. If you think cars hitting deer is bad, now, just imagine what would happen if they weren't hunted. With no natural predators, the population would boom. And what deer weren't killed by cars or other such things would starve to death. Which I would say is far more cruel.

I am entirely against PETA's message. It lacks reason, common sense, or compassion. If they were simply Vegans, I could ignore them. But they aren't.

Dear PETA,

I am a farmer. I raise cattle. I kill the cattle. I knock them out, slice their necks, and let them bleed out all while they are asleep. I then cut their dead bodies up for food. This food sustains many families and is a corner stone in the diet of many human beings.

Come at me, brothers.

Love,

Ponyholder
God Bless you, Ponyholder. I love me some burgers, but I don't think I could bring myself to actually kill, clean, and cut up the cows. I'll happily cook it after that, though. So, you supply the meat, and I'll cook the food. Deal?

Every time I eat a big, juicy steak, it always tastes just a little bit better knowing that I'm pissing off a PETA member. I like to imagine they can feel my teeth gnawing at their soul. :3

Hehe, sure why not? I thought the same thing before I moved to the farm, but after a while I sorta realized that the animal is completely paralyzed and can feel no pain. I just wish the morons at PETA would realize this.

Also, if you ever want a fun way to learn more about farming in general, give the manga "Silver Spoon" a read. It is educational and really funny. I personally love the manga and wish I didn't have to wait every week for a new chapter :/
It's more that I don't think I could handle the blood and whatnot. I have a rather weak stomach. Don't even watch the more gory (torture-porn) horror movies, for that reason. I realized that much about myself when I went to a veterinary school years ago and saw a few things that were more than enough for me. Dissection wasn't a strong suit of mine, either.

Nor do I really think I can really kill anything with four legs or less (insects and arachnids deserve death). Just not really in me. Maybe I could, but I'm perfectly happy with the status quo as is. I'll get my meat at the store.

I might look into that manga later, though.

Is there a bonus level where members of PETA euthanise pokémon in an alleyway and illegally throw their corpses in a dumpster then go and firebomb a pokecenter?
PERFECT!!! You've made my day. XD

Stop giving PETA publicity. That's exactly what they want.
Nope, this is exectly the kind of publicity these crazy fucks deserve.

Nothing is more damaging to their image then showing their insanity to the public.
No such thing as bad publicity my friend

PETA's got nothing against the killing part, hell they're the largest organized animal killing group to ever exist. If anything they're insulted by your inefficiently slow and humane methods and lack of undersized holding cells to keep them still.

What they find offensive is that the cattle is domesticated in the first place. They'd rather entire species go extinct than be owned.

On a more personal note as a southern californian, give me all your tri-tip cuts.

Don't forget that they condemn the use of guide dogs for the blind too.

And it's also fun to point out that one of the high-ups in PETA uses/used animal derived insulin and attempted to justify it by saying 'I need to use it so I can protect them' (or words to that effect), because it's murder when anyone else uses it of course.

Unfortunately, it takes intelligence and creativity to be original. Both things are in severely short supply at PETA.

Stop reporting on this. You're only giving them what they want.
That may be true, however, that doesn't make it any less newsworthy. PETA has learned the lesson that every crazy organization learns at some point; noisy wheel gets the grease. Or to put it in more appropriate terms: no matter who is smartest in class, or whose comments are most relevant to the lesson, the teacher must always take time out to reprimand the obnoxious kid in the fifth row shouting obscenities.

I really don't understand why people get so bent out of shape at PETA. Thats what they want you to do. They thrive on controversy and publicity. If you want them to go away, ignore them, deny them the light of publicity.

Jesus Christ, again?! Haven't these people learned anything?! I understand what they're getting at, but could they not be assholes about it?!?!

And yes, I know we're not supposed to draw attention to them... though ignoring them doesn't seem to help (as far as I can tell, anyway)... though would revealing their true idiocy be a bad thing?

And is it wrong I want McDonalds or whoever to sue the pants off them?
