That's pretty sweet. The kid's learning how to use his family's influence for his own gain. He'd make a great politician.
I was referring to the "They" part of your answerMaxerJ said:Actually...Supraliminal said:I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't universally loving Valve's doings.
I do. I worship them. I have a shrine and everything.
Just to quote myself.. ahem.Woodsey said:I didn't realise we needed to put "in my opinion" iin Front of everything - and don't worry, I'll ignore the hypocrisy given how the post I quoted you on was written as fact.Supraliminal said:Well, I was thinking about the water jet thingy part. (btw "near-perfect pacing" is an opinion of somebody's (in this case: yours), not a fact, as you seem to state it)Woodsey said:HL2 is an example of near-perfect pacing. The vehicle sections miss the pacing mark by quite a while, but other then that it's spot-on.
My main gripe being the linearity, hence problem with immersion.
Your reply perplexes me.SeanTheSheep said:Snip

As it is, it's probably just opinion, a lot of people loved them, you didn't, that's perfectly alright, and you have every right to even loathe its very existance, but try to keep consistent.

"I don't get it"
"Maybe my feelings stem from the fact, that I didn't play it when it came out all those years ago."
If those highlighted words don't clarify personal opinion to you, then I can't blame ya.
Otherwise...
That was cute! What do you think the Valve employee's kid will say?Baby Tea said:Bawwww.
That was awesome!
Who wants to bet that some Valve employee gets their kid to do a reply?
Anyone? Anyone?
Or maybe you just have a different taste.Supraliminal said:Uh, I don't get it.
Half Life 2 wasn't even that good.
A linear shooter with awkward pacing, tedious story and evident lack of style, especially in the level design.
It frequently reminded you it's a game, never giving you a chance to immerse in the world (after the starting sequence, that is)
Maybe my feelings stem from the fact, that I didn't play it when it came out all those years ago.
Time would have hazed my memories for sure.
This would be truly epic. I am loathe to use that word, but it just fits.Baby Tea said:Bawwww.

Don't need to be old to enjoy the classics. :UGeneticallyModifiedDucks said:Um, just when did this kid play Half-Life 2? He looks really young
Quick! Call a priest. We must exorcise them with the utmost haste!MaxerJ said:Does anyone else really want to be this child? I know I do.
