When did women suddenly become incapable of making their own decisions and walking away from bad situations? When did they stop having to take responsibility for their own actions?

Women who readily submit to a man's demands? Why aren't feminists up in arms against these women for setting such a bad example?

Some people are just weak and vulnerable. Saying that they deserve whatever fucked up shit happens to them is disgusting. And I seriously doubt that what this guy puts them through helps them build character--he targets these people specifically because he knows that they won't do anything about it.

A comparison that has been building in my mind is the following:

Imagine if there was a weak man with a massive attitude problem that meant he enjoyed beating people up. But because of his weakness, he roamed the streets looking for people in crutches, with their arms in casts, or in wheelchairs because he could beat them up easily. And then taught other people how to spot people who are vulnerable.

Saying "ah, we should teach the people who he attacks to be better at self defense. Maybe they are just masochists, why else would they let themselves be beaten up" is completely missing the point. Anyone who said would clearly need to sit down and think about what it is like to vulnerable. Mental vulnerability is as reals as physical vulnerability, and claiming that they are "encouraging" this by being "too weak" is ridiculous.

Psychologically vulnerable people (of all genders) should be looked after, and not given an equal share of "blame" for the consequences of people picking them out and harassing them. As has already been mentioned, this man teaches men to identify and pursue women who will be the easiest to control. This is, as has already been said, indefensible.

The law was followed perfectly. UK law clearly allows visas to be denied without any crime having been committed in the country.

He's not just being slightly aggressive towards women. He's 1) Physically assaulting them. 2) Performing psychological warfare on insecure women he's targeted. He's an abuser and he hasn't even gotten them back to his house to be beaten.

There IS evidence that he did these things. Nobody on this thread accusing him said there wasn't any proof. And really, mate, stop and ask yourself "Do I really want to be the guy who hears a guy's committed sexual assault and instantly assumes there's no reason to suspect him of that?"

So the guy started out making videos of him doing this and showing how he got the girls not to report him. Guys wanted to now how to do that too, so now he charges them money for him to teach them how to sexually assault women and manipulate them into not reporting it. Sure Some of the videos have been pulled now due to the nature of them, but MANY people already viewed them before they took them down. I am sure they exist somewhere on line still. DID you miss this happening when the videos were put up in the first place?

And that makes his actions more deplorable than what I described? Freedom of speech means swallowing things that you find utterly disgusting and deplorable too. Well, at least I'm taught so.

To be fair, I've never seen anyone give actual consent to a sudden kiss. There are no papers to file, there is no verbal declaration made.. it just happens. Technically, what this guy is doing isn't a problem unless someone files charges against him, and everyone he encounters is free to do that. It's not like he's killing these women or even threatening them afterwords. There is absolutely no magical barriers stopping them from filing police reports and getting him arrested.

I don't deny the guy is a giant asshole, sure, but denying people from your country for being offensive is a slippery slope that could potentially have no end. When do we start banning people from our countries for making movies we find politically offensive? Drawing gory art? Having diseases like HIV? If you really want to play the "danger to citizens game" so loosely, technically that last one is a larger threat because if they chose to sleep around and/or got in an accident of some kind, the people in your country will be at risk.

Yeah, but I think just about everyone agrees that when it comes to consensual kissing things have been built up enough so that they don't have to ask. They just know. Doing it out of nowhere, not very consensual. And apparently this guy is very good at intimidating people into not pressing charges. Everyone he meets CAN press charges against him. But you know how pressing charges against people with a lot of money and influence tends to go? Very badly.

The difference between banning someone from your country for being an ass and banning someone from your country for encouraging people to break the law is the difference between night and day.

Been going back and rereading and missed this initially.

What do you think of countries enacting legislation that makes sexual predation illegal? There are already anti-bullying laws in effect. This could be just an expansion on those existing laws.

It is an interesting area, but I haven't done enough research to form an opinion. A very relevant situation in the UK news at the moment is this:

Basically, a number of men were banned by a local council from contacting a 17-year-old girl (or approaching any female under the age of 18 that they do not know personally) who is currently in care of the council, as they are highly suspected of sexually abusing her. Basically, the police have not been able to gather enough evidence for a criminal prosecution, but there is enough for a civil case.

On the one hand, some might say that if there is not enough evidence for a criminal case, it should be dropped.

On the other hand, the people responsible for her care seem pretty damn sure that there is no other way to prevent her being abused by a group of older males.

I am definitely inclined to feel that they people close to the matter probably know best. That said, I am far from an expert on the finer points of the law or civil rights (lol JK unwritten constitution).

Although banning the PUA guy from coming into the UK seems to be pretty similar case: criminal prosecution is one thing, civil rulings (i.e. putting limits on behaviour) a different thing.
