holy sh** thats awsome!Bigfootmech said:If you import the gun, the barrel is already under the bayonet... also if you don't know (I have a real live one in my bed - no kidding) the bayonet for the SA80 slots over the flash eliminator and is held that way by a spring - you literally SHOOT THROUGH the bayonet.NAHTZEE said:Bigfootmech said:I tried to make an sa80 (with bayonet) out of the standard parts, good y/n?
oh yeah it's great just put in and actualt barrel under the bayonet and lower the bayonet and it's badass all the way

Well it's okay, the handguard is too small, there's no magwell, the ejection port doesn't line up with the magazine, the rail on the top is too long and I'm not quite sure what's going on with the scope mount.Bigfootmech said:I tried to make an sa80 (with bayonet) out of the standard parts, good y/n?
But hey, it could be a lot worse.
Have a look at the bullpup rifle I made not long ago, it was heavily inspired by the L85A2 also.
Yes, a rifle adopted in 1982 is based on one designed in 1998, that makes sense.NAHTZEE said:the L96 is based of an SV-98.

A supressed hunting version, followed by Police version with larger magazine, longer barrel, bipod, muzzle break, cheek rest and improved optics.
Thoughts and criticisms more than welcome
atleast i think- SV-98 is more my ty- oh fuck it thy're the same so who the fuck cares they're both badass-Evil Tim said:Yes, a rifle adopted in 1982 is based on one designed in 1998, that makes sense.NAHTZEE said:the L96 is based of an SV-98.
I just made the receiver using shaded blocks and circles, and the bolt is just made from a barrel tube I think, with the bolt handle from the M200.NAHTZEE said:Wadders said:2 bolt action rifles.

how do you get a receiver and the bolt used for the police version?
Actually I'm not allowed to have one - technically - I just ordered it off the internet . I'd get it taken off me if I stuck it on my webbing and went on a weekend with it (or so I've been told ).Evil Tim said:You know, when they tell you to eat with it and sleep with it, they don't mean like that.Bigfootmech said:(I have a real live one in my bed - no kidding)
The L85 and the SV-98 are the same?NAHTZEE said:atleast i think- SV-98 is more my ty- oh fuck it thy're the same so who the fuck cares they're both badass-Evil Tim said:Yes, a rifle adopted in 1982 is based on one designed in 1998, that makes sense.NAHTZEE said:the L96 is based of an SV-98.
L96, not L85.Skywolf09 said:The L85 and the SV-98 are the same?
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense indeed... [/sarcasm]
Yeah, there's a few scopes with built-in illumination functions, the PSO-1 can do it with the all the markings:NimbleJack3 said:I've done some research, and it turns out the 'Short Dot' scope available in PMG is a scope with an integrated red dot sight. It's very interesting.

What? Oh... whoops. Once again, I read too fast and end up shooting myself in the foot. I do believe one of these is required now:Evil Tim said:L96, not L85.Skywolf09 said:*snipped for justice*
Nice! A bit of a co-incidence as yesterday I made a classic style revolver rifle. Comments/ criticisms?Evil Tim said:L96, not L85.Skywolf09 said:The L85 and the SV-98 are the same?

And I'd say this is still my favourite PMG creation of mine:
Nothing fancy, just a revolver-carbine.

Still, even then those two guns aren't the same thing.
