Oh my god, awesome. Was it all the one PMG image, or did you have to stitch it together in Photoshop or similar?toryu said:River crossing

100% PMG
Crazy expensive, but you already know that. I dont think it would be anymore effective tan actual AP rounds, and I actually think that the bullet would break apart on impact with a hard surface, like armor. Althouh, if the diamond is the actual core, it might work, but still, Depleted Uranium rounds are probably cheaper, if not really safe... for the soldier usin them, not for the person they're aimed at.sooperman said:Alright kids, time for a new concept! This time around: diamond-tipped bullets. The idea is that if you tip your lead slugs with diamond, it will be a full-metal jacket on steroids.
Shown actual size in the magazine. The one above the rifle is enlarged to show texture.
I know it would be crazy expensive, but if you used synthetic industrial diamonds you could buy them in bulk. My design is a rough sketch, but what do you guys think? Is it practical? Is it safe? Is it helpful?

I think the only thing missing is more cowbell... no but seriously, nice gun, it all fits together quite well.Sn1P3r M98 said:I made a creation of my own today. Doesn't even come close to toryu's but I like it. It's a new entry in my long (well not that long)dead Rattler Series. It's the rattler Modular Assault .223 It uses a G36 upper with a HK416 lower. It was made as a request from GSG-9 who liked the functionality of the G36, but wanted a MWS. Thus the HK416 lower allows for STANAG or PMAGs and whatever pistol grip you want, plus a recoil reducing stock and more rails on the front.I saved the code so if something is wrong, tell me and I will fix it.

You broke your SVD apart for us once. The stock's detailing was an entire diagram.toryu said:Anyone of you has the potencial to be much better than me Practice makes perfect... Is that a custom stock?....[small]and handuard?...and magazine?[/small] Its beautiful!toryu said:GALIL Sniper
Yeah, the stock was really tricky. I think I'm gonna try to refine it.dbmountain said:really nice work! the only suggestion i have is to put a bit more work into the stock. i honestly dont know what you COULD do, but right now it just looks like square shapes with white circles in them
I know a pretty good way to add shading to areas that look cartoonish like that. It's how I managed to do my L85 and UMP a couple of pages back. I might post a tut on it at some point if nobody else has.Sn1P3r M98 said:Yeah, the stock was really tricky. My best suggestions would be to somehow try and get black outlines around the borders of the objects. For the holes, it wouldn't be too difficult, just a black circle shape with a smaller circle shape in the middle. it'd only have to be a tiny bit smaller to give it a thin black line bordering it. The same concept could be used to border the rest of the stock but it'd take more time for thatSn1P3r M98 said:Yeah, the stock was really tricky. Uh oh. Your photobucket link is broken.sooperman said:So I really love me some revolvers. This is more like a concept gun, so it isn't my best work.
The idea is basic: a revolver that has a foregrip and a long barrel. Now I obviously did a sub-par job, but I was hoping that you people would try to improve it. Any attempts at the idea would be enlightening and much appreciated.

If you wanted a more modular weapon, I would've gone with the G36 lower receiver instead of the upper. The upper receiver for the AR15 is ridiculously easy to convert to anything you could possibly want (including crossbows), and you can modify the G36 lower to accept STANAG magazines and the complete collection of AR stocks.Sn1P3r M98 said:Holy Shit. 100% PMGyou have ever madeI have ever seen. It looks smooth, the camo is great, the tape on the grip is stylish. You. Are. Amazing.

The problem isn't that diamonds are hard and lead is not, it's the fact that diamonds are not quite nearly as dense as lead. Lead is used in bullets because it's very heavy for the size of the bullet, it's cheap, and at high speeds, it's not going to bounce off something. Even if it's hitting something it can't actually penetrate, since it flattens on impact, it's still transferring it's kinetic energy into what you're hitting, something a diamond couldn't do.sooperman said:Alright kids, time for a new concept!
