I was trying to build my two AEG's that I use (one based on the KAC PDW, the other a G36c)

Sadly all the parts for them couldn't be found, so I gave up.
You should try making your own custom parts. Many of the parts can be ungrouped and blended together with other parts. You can also make parts entirely out of shapes or use them to change the look of existing parts. That's part of the fun of it IMO.

I guess... Still kind of strange though. I mean if you're going to make an application called "pimp my gun", then why neglect to include the option of being able to bring up a picture of a FULL gun, and then let people be able to add suppressors, extended mags, flash-hiders etc.

Having to basically "build" one from scratch and not even have adequate parts for some models seems kind of odd. : /

Try the 'old version'. That has less parts and colours, but an easier to use interface and the ability to pick a base gun from the list (XM8, SA80, SPAS 12, VSS, etc, etc). I always use that one.

Well, there are some pre-set guns that you can add stuff too. Just go to File > New to find them.

Ah, that's it. Thought "New" basically meant to wipe the slate clean and start over.

Im still missing some parts though. Like the small rail strips that a G36C has attached to the underside and the sides of the handguard. As well as the silencer model that I have for my AEG. But I managed to make one somewhat similar. :)

Re-found my brush tip paint pens. Doodle'd this tonight.
When I have some free time I might start painting some shit involving weapons.

Shit, nice painting. It's awesome.

And it's great to see some newer faces in the thread - I feared we had stagnated and wound down.

Someone I know says that to draw well, you have to constantly draw. If it's something you want to do, you need to keep doing it all day and practice.

Well that was done starting cold, after like 4 months of no drawing, and I don't have the free time I'd like to to be able to draw all day every day.

To me, thats nothing less than completely devistating, and unnecessary firepower.

THATS THE BEST KIND!

Alright, I made a new entry in my Rattler series. It's the Rattler Long range.

It is mainly used by assassins and hitmen because of its relative portability and long range. It uses the the 6.8 SPC. cartridge for maximum power and range for a weapon of its class. It is semi automatic and has a 20" barrel to assist in accuracy.

As always, crits are accepted and appreciated.
