Critisize, dammit!
Don't like the red dot, don't like the placement of the small front rail bit, don't like the delta ring on the barrel.

Happy?

Hey, great backstory mate. I love this sort of stuff. Wanna collaborate on a single continuity?
Yeah that sounds good. Honestly I was just trying to make the guns seem more interesting, but hey if it's really that good then backstory it is!

yeah, I know the bottom got cut off, but by the time I noticed, I had closed the window, and wasn't about to rebuild the whole thing

pure epic goodness.

I know it will come up, so I'll head 'em off at the pass. What purpose does the clip in the stock serve?

Did someone say impractical?

because this definitely isn't (yes that grenade launcher has a silencer, yes there it also has a grenade launcher mounted on it and yes almost every barrel has a laser sight on it)

i made it bullpup so that it could be more compact ... the reason the clip is so low in the gun and the rifles bullet chamber is so high is because i once had this idea of a small path leading the bullets up into the chamber but you always had to reload when the clip emptied anyway .. even though there were still alot of bullets from a pre loaded clip in the gun

so before battle they'd preload it with one clip .. remove the clip then apply the next so that there will always be at least half a clip of ammunition inside the gun incase you're ambushed while reloading

prefferably these emergency rounds will never have to be used .. but you never know

so alltogether each soldier has and extra half a clip of amunition stashed inside the gun before battle

Lolwut? TL;DR but I do like the rifle. Pistol grip is cool, Mk. 13 is used responsibly, and the little flashlight is a nice touch. The clip is confusing but Rule of Cool amirite?

Oh and, a few more additions. Two modular weapon systems this time.

Exhibit: Shotguns of the First Landing War

Although the war is named after the battles that raged on the moons of Jupiter in the 2220s, the bulk of the fighting was done on Earth between the Greater United Kingdom (the area of original Britain plus conquered principalities) and the United States of America (includes all territory north of The Wastes). The hectic urban fighting common in most earth cities created a need in both armies for a reliable combat shotgun. Below are two shotguns issued to opposing forces: the GUK L225-S and the US M2222-AS.

L225-S

The L225-S was used between the years of 2225 and 2231, when the war ended with the capitulation of most of the GUK (European holdings plus the original isles, with guerilla combat still being waged on Mars and in parts of Asia) after the destruction of most of Europe. It was put in service by the army of the GUK after it realized that a combat shotgun was necessary for urban combat on Earth. It fired large shells, but accepted more obscure rounds like electric buck or chem-shells. It fired fully automatically (exact ROF is classified), and accepted 20, 30, or 40-round drum magazines. However, due to the high rate of fire, the weapon suffered from poor accuracy, especially when silenced (as shown here).

M2222-AS

The M2222-AS was the combat shotgun develop by the US army during the war. It is generally considered to be a worse weapon than it's GUK counterpart. However, it has several interesting and revolutionary features. First of all, it added a secondary pump-action ability to the standard automatic shotgun firing mechanism. This allowed it to accept some oversize or otherwise unorthodox rounds, and could even double as a grenade launcher for troops without one. Also, it has a revolutionary recoil-dampening stock that absorbs and redirects the kinetic energy of the recoil forward and down, meaning that the weapon had almost no recoil, even when fired fully automatically. Also, it was extremely light, which has some troops equipped with it modifying it to be fired with one hand. However, because of materials used in it's construction (which gave it it's lightness) it was very delicate, and could not be used with air or space-dropped troops. Also, the round it fired normally was far less powerful than it's GUK counterpart. Because of this, some troops would exchange it for dropped L225s whenever possible.
