Pixar's worst movie

I don't know if I've ever seen A Bug's Life all the way through, but I hardly remember it in any case.

I liked Cars, but that's in part because as a car nut, I got the jokes. I wouldn't call it a kids' movie because so many of the cameos and car puns in that movie soar completely over youngsters' heads.

Wall-E kind of bored me. I like most of Pixar's movies but that one just lost my interest. Very nice moral but it was a boring movie for me.

Well of their movies I'd say I'm torn between Cars and Finding Nemo. I actually didn't hate Cars that much when I saw it but I do think they have been advertising Mater a bit too much with all his animated shorts, but nothing to the extent of what Dreamworks did with the Penguins of Madagascar. I think that I'll go with Finding Nemo because while it wasn't a bad film, I was forced to watch it like three times when I was young and got sick of it watching it...to the point where I actually like Shark Tale better than it.

Although, pretty much every film that Pixar makes is better than half of the movies that Dreamworks makes. I mean the only films that were really good that were made by Dreamworks were Shrek 1 and 2, Shark Tale, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and Madagascar to a lesser extent. So I have to give Pixar credit for making consistently well made films.

was "meet the robisons" pixar or dreamworks?
because i hated how screwed up their veiws on time travle works.

but if that is dreamworks then i say "the incredibles".
i really only liked the first robot fight scene.

Meet the Robinsons was made by Walt Disney without the help of Pixar. I only know this after I searched for it on Wikipedia just now because I never saw the movie myself.

just to be sure that we are talking about the same film:
"meet the robisons": new animated film about a boy genius who gets to travel to the future by way of some random kid from the future (later turns out to be the smart kids future son) that goes back to fix an error he made in his time.

"swiss family robinson": old live action film about a family that gets stranded on an unmarked island and survives via making a house and gadgets that were so advanced given the materials avalable they must have been made by using blue prints writen by "the professor" from the sitcom "gilligans island".

i only ask because you said the film was made by walt disney--who is dead--and not the disney corporation. if you had said the latter i would not have responded, but since you said the first i just wanted to double check.

He/She is right. Meet the Robinsons was made by Disney (not Pixar/Disney). The same as Bolt if anyone else has seen that. And I just realized I may know way too much about animated films...

'pixars worst' is usually still better, then most every other animated movie out there by a good ways

that said though, the incredibles, never clicked with me for what ever reason
not seen bugs life or toy story2-3

Up and Wall-e where great though, Wall-e in particular for telling an easy to fallow story, with out a lot of dialog

Cars, easily Cars. Glad to see they're trying to outdo themselves in terms of worst movie made by themselves.

Cars, was dumb as hell. Saw very little of the Rat one, but wasn't interested. But generally I like Pixar - Wall-E, Monsters, Incredibles and even the hated (dunno why) A Bug's Life.

Pixar has always been a beacon of excellence with great use of colour, truly resonating stories and characters and being generally epic and fantastic. They've never made a movie that can be called 'bad' while maintaining a straight face.

That being said, however, I do feel that Cars is their weakest movie. It's by no means bad and the end of the third act's race is really good, but the movie's not as good as every other one. Don't get me wrong; it's still very good and I heartily recommend it to anyone, but if I'm forced to choose Pixar's weakest film, it would be Cars with A Bug's Life coming up close.

Cars, most definitely. It just seemed like the cars aspect of the story was a gimmick, the story could have easily been told with humans but was told with cars for the sake of some cheap jokes. You can't say that about practically any other pixar film.

first: i was just wanting to make sure that the titles weren't being mixed. it was not ment as an arguement nor anything like it. just wanting to make sure the facts were strait. the person said he/she looked it up on wikipedia and that is not really a fully reliable scorce. you can get some correct facts or something stating that WW2 was won but optimus prime killing hitler with a silver waffle iron. i know that is an overacting statement but i hope you get my point, that being this person may have gotten the wrong information. but he/she may have also just typed the right responce wrong. i just wanted to clear that up.
second: you can never know to much. unless you go into an information comma where you can't move anything but your mouth and the only thing you can say is an endless stream of movie trivia.

And i still loved it.

None of the movies were good, I admit they have nostalgia factor, but they were not truly good. They weren't bad, but they were definitely not good. They all had the same plot.

How are a movie about a Bug trying to fit in and save his colony from Gangster Grasshoppers, a Man taking his house to a place he and his wife wanted to visit before she died, and a Car who while trying to get to a Important Race early ends up stuck in a small forgotten town off Route66 the same?

I'd have to agree, most ther Pixar films have an adult aspect or theme to it but Cars was just lacking it, i know i know people could go on aobut self discover and aging generations all they want, but it had a damn toe truck as comedic relief.

1-3 are classics to me and show what Pixar is capable of when fully on their game. 4-7 are great works that any studio would be proud of. 8-9 are simply just good, with Cars at the bottom.
