That reminds me of when I was in elementary school and we were in gym we were playing volley ball and I was standing behind the gym teacher *big hulking fellow* and he reared back to smack the volley ball and smacked me right in the face.

Whoa. That looked incredibly painful. More than that though, I have to wonder: why did that get posted on youtube?
Indeed. I was wondering about that myself. Sure, you can play games on (with?) the Kinect. If you want, you can make a video of it. It's not interesting to watch, so why would you?
But there it is, you tape the whole thing. Perhaps (hopefully) not to share on YouTube.
Then you hit your daughter in her face. Ouch! "Poor girl? Are you okay?" (or perhaps: "Damn you, I almost had a high score!").
After the girl has been patched up, you think: "Wow, nice movie. I'll post it online for all to see."

Why? WHY!?!

And now I have watched it (luckily without sound).

Anyway, I'm off to buy a Kinect and play some games on (with?) it while my four year old son is watching...

That was horrible! I hope that kid was okay. I think I'm the only one here that doesn't laugh when children get hurt.

That slow-mo laugh. I haven't laughed so hard in about a year

Good grief...

I've been charged with battery for dealing out lesser blows!

Edit: I did think it was sort of horrible, to be honest with ya'll. :(

There is nothing funny about that. I truly hope that child came out okay and that guy learns better safety measures.

This makes Kinect more directly responsible for violent behaviour than any game or peripheral before it, doesn't it? :D

Ouch - My concern for the child's welfare vanished when I started to laugh. Cruel I know, but that was funny ^^

Seems like kinect is breeding far more violence than Halo or Call of Duty ever dreamed. At least people can't get beat up through a headset.

Oh god, that was great!
Nothing brings a smile to my face like seeing children injured.

Haaaaaa, I probably have issues.

Still, lotta injuries with this thing. The Wii caused problems too, but it really didn't hurt people. It mostly hurt walls and TVs.
Yes. You are a horrible person and also dead inside for laughing. So what does that make me for laughing so hard at the remix that my sides hurt?

Slapped one of my mates by mistake when we were playing Dance Central.

I'm so going to hell for laughing at this... I do hope the kid is okay...

Why are people video taping themselves playing motion controlled games anyway? The last thing I want is a video of myself flailing around like a moron.

Edit: entire video reminds me of the time I fish hooked someone on the river... literally. Fishing rod, lean back, throw the line back, tug, hear scream, look around see 7 year old cousin with fishing hook stuck in his face...

You should always watch what's behind you.

Don't worry people ,kids can take a lot of damage. It's allright to find this hillarious because there was'nt any malice involved and unless she's some kind of bubble child, she was most likely cured with a little ice cream.

Playing Kinect Results in Child Abuse

Umm you do know child abuse is a deliberate and direct act?

This is called a accident. Saying he abuses his child might get you up for libel there chuckles... as a accident does not equal he beats his kids deliberately.

They warn you on the box, the start of the game and the WII mom who nearly killed her dog swinging to the side and knocking the dog unconsious wanted bigger warnings, why when you don't read them anyway...

And for more related accidents to a gaming theme....
