And next gen will be 80 bucks a game, just watch. Honestly most AAA games should be in the 40-50 dollar range, considering how mediocre most of them are.
They'll be $70 or 80 EUR, despite the fact that it should be cheaper in EUR.And next gen will be 80 bucks a game, just watch. Honestly most AAA games should be in the 40-50 dollar range, considering how mediocre most of them are.
Usually 3rd party companies only though. Let's give Sony at least some credit. None of their first party licsensed games have had MT's.Price increase and an undoubtedly greater focus on microtransactions.
This is the shit I was talking about. I don't want to hear wait for sale from anyone else right now. It's the principle of the matter. What is this, the 16 bit days? Where any new game could range between $45-$90. Fuck off, Sony! The Playstation blog contains more info on pricing for stuff like controllers, peripherals and the launch games.
If you just want the game prices:PlayStation 5 launches in November, starting at $399 for PS5 Digital Edition and $499 for PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive
New games announced at PS5 Showcase, including Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, and a new God of War titleblog.playstation.com
Sony, mind explaining why EU/JP will be paying 10 bucks more than NA? Also, prepare for $70 as new standard price? Fuck off, like all the way off.

MTs or not, it's still bullshit. Give them an inch, and they will take a million conutry mile to nowhere, but "Fuck You-ville"!Usually 3rd party companies only though. Let's give Sony at least some credit. None of their first party licsensed games have had MT's.
God of war, Final Fantasy, Bloodborne, Spiderman, Horizon, none of these had MT's before and at least Miles Morales doesn't look to have them now.
Maybe not in single-player Final Fantasy games. But FFXIV is full of microtransactions, and Square Enix's last game was Marvel's Avengers, which is notoriously full of them.God of war, Final Fantasy, Bloodborne, Spiderman, Horizon, none of these had MT's before and at least Miles Morales doesn't look to have them now.
Oh that's good to hear, he's like the only person competent left in SE.Final Fantasy XVI looks great and XIV's producer Naoki Yoshida is involved. I'm a diehard XIV fan, so colour me excited. I may need to bring building a new gaming rig forward.
Outside of Tactics, a FF combat system has never worked because they try to make turn-based combat "fast and exciting", which is the opposite of what turn-based is supposed to be or they try some dumb hybrid of action and turn-based that does neither well.Hopefully they also pick a lane with the combat system because doing the "kind of one but kind of other but not really" doesn't work. It looks like it's going for a more twitch-reflex style, so hopefully they just let the player go wild
I don't get why you're so mad about such things. Video gaming is one of the cheapest hobbies one could have (while game price has gone down over the generations) and it's also the cheapest form of gaming. Upgrading your money pieces for a board game is as much money as a complete video game, not to mention the upfront cost of a board game is more money than a video game as well. The #1 board game Gloomhaven is currently $110 on Amazon while you can buy the Steam version for $25.MTs or not, it's still bullshit. Give them an inch, and they will take a million conutry mile to nowhere, but "Fuck You-ville"!
Not now; don't care. Not in the mood for the boardgame speeches. Fucking save it! I rarely even touch boardgames anymore. I did mention on other threads that my main focus will be on AA or and smaller games mostly, but I will still callout the bullshit in AAA industry. There is no other reason than fuck, you give us more money for our price hike. Or "video games are too expensive to make!" It's, the PS3 all over again. Do this in an economic recession. I guess Kun Lan was right in some ways.I don't get why you're so mad about such things. Agreed. At least Sony has strong launch line-up title for once. That last time that happened was the PS1 days.Surprisingly, the PS5 actually has launch titles that I want to play. Usually it takes about a year before anything comes out that makes me want to go out and buy a console.
Nintendo is the only one that even tries that now. Everybody else wants that Apple appeal apparently.I dont like the white look of the console. Mayhbe make is black and blue? I miss when consoles came in lots of fun colors.
Honestly, the playstation and xbox are basically the same thing. They both can play the same high power games, but one of them just happens to have worthwhile exclusives.Nintendo is the only one that even tries that now. Everybody else wants that Apple appeal apparently.
