Well, i was less than impressed with what they showed on GDC. For the simple reason that there was not really anything showcasing how accurate it works and nothing apart from your average Wii/Eyetoy shovelware stuff was shown (with the exception of Socom).

But then i found this:

And well, even if it's not even a game it looks pretty damn awesome!
I hadn't seen that, it does look pretty awesome.

it's very nice and will definitely be well received on my PS3... but I don't see it replacing a good old mouse + KB any time soon. While I can appreciate the precision of Playstation Move, I still think it is no match for a decent laser-mouse when it comes to fast and precise aiming though the PS-Move is designed to be far more flexible than just aiming.

of course, we won't see Nintendo titles but I'm interested to see if other really good 3rd party Wii titles will come to PS3 with pointing-motion-controls like... err... well there aren't many 3rd party games on the Wii which are even worth getting! Even with a HD re-release.

Maybe those Resident Evil Chronicles games? House of the Dead Overkill and maybe even Muramasa.

My big hope is that if they retro-actively support PS-move for games that they will at the same time allow mouse support... that would be EPIC WIN!!

Well lets see what Kevin Butler has to say about it.

Honestly, he makes me want it...
Yes, Kevin Butler might just be the next Billy Maes.

That would most definetly be a good idea on their part. To just hook up a USB mouse to the PS3 and play the games using that would be cool.

I'm not judging (ok, not TOO much) but I personally find it annoying how companies offer such tangible improvements to the speed and precision of controllers only people get more drawn to gimmicky stuff like altered reality.

That isn't going to let you perform better, it just looks cool.

I'm not too terribly impressed with Move, to be honest. Yes, it's supposed to be more precise than a Wii Remote, but what really matters here is the software, and from what I've seen, it's little to get excited about. There's a WiiSports clone, a rail-shooter, a fitness game, a minigame collection, Socom 4 (a legitimate use), and that's about it. What Sony really needs to do with this is use the device in ways that haven't really been done with the Wii Remote. Just redoing all the same kinds of games on Wii for Playstation Move is going to get them nowhere, and certainly won't steal away Wii's audience.

Some of the tech demos make this thing look pretty cool, especially if you use two of the wands together. Downside: you'll have to buy two wands instead of just one. Also, they'd actually have to do some of that stuff in real games. I'd love to see it used for LittleBigPlanet for creation for one thing.

And once again, Penny Arcade makes me stare blankly at my monitor and ponder the precious seconds of my life wasted having read their strip. :|

It hasn't come out yet so its probably to early to be judging it by software standards, and while I don't think it will steal away the Wii audience it should probably attract some of the hardcore gamers who are unsatisfied with the Wii.

Can it turn poeple into frogs with it's magic glowing ball? can it cast thunderbolts IRL?

I guess not, so i'll stick with my wii for motion controll, and the PS3 for other stuff.

Well, it really is a glorified Wii-mote. I kinda thought there would be more to it than that, but hey. Does it have accelerometers, or does it do everything via colour-ball tracking?

Going to be interesting to see if they can sustain decent games development using the system, but I can see it going the way of the Wii FAR too easily, and the console's too expensive for the same sort of casual gamer support that sustained the Wii.

So far, the Natal is still the more interesting of the two imo - it's just so different, and not just a glorified anything. That said, I PC game so unless the Natal becomes PC compatible then it's not really going to affect me, heh.

I've heard they're going to release it with the Eye toy and everything you'd need for less than $100 American.

Honestly, I'd like to see less than the required Wii ports. Mostly because I'd rather see Sony get some new companies and use their current companies to make new, hardcore games.

And hey, it may be a Wii remote with a ball on it, but it's also wireless! Take THAT Nintendo!

The tech demos look awesome. I've found the WiiMote simply too inaccurate, so that seems like a great project. That's going to be a factor, if I buy PS3, as the first console ever. After ~10 years of gaming.

With seeing the ability of these controllers from those two videos and the confirmation of Little Big Planet 2.....I have a feeling players will be able to create 3D levels with their sackboys and not 2.5D levels like little big planet 1

I thought they decided not to port it, or did I hear wrong?
The first episode will ported to Xbox 360 and to the PS3. Suda51 said that the second will be REALLY a Wii exclusive, but y'know, killer7 were a GameCube exclusive (later released on PS2), and the first one was also ment to be an only-Nintendo game.
I feel sorry for the Wii users, but I'm happy. I love Suda51's games. They shouldn't be released only on one console.

That thing really looks shit. The basic problem, is that it haven't got a design at all.
