Piers Morgans opinion is protected by the 1st Amendment. His residency in the States is not however. And since he has decided to actively undermine the 2nd Amendment, and in the process The United States Bill of Rights. A portion of this countries citizens has decided to petition their government to deport a foreign alien from their country. If Mr. Morgan wants to apply for full citizenship this would easily be remedied. But he hasn't, and he wants to lecture us on shit he's ignorant about. Soooo, yeah, deport the bastard.

Out of the many law professor blogs I have bookmarked I think Eugene Volokh is most apt here, http://www.volokh.com/posts/1123520953.shtml regarding the law and non-citizen speech. But I'm not here to argue about guns. I'm here to point out that the whole White House thing doesn't matter, since it says RIGHT ON THEIR SITE that they won't delve into matters of law or investigations.

Edit: Freedom of Speech in the US is assumed. The only possible exception, since he clearly isn't being libelous or slanderous or threatening, is if Free Speech a) doesn't apply to foreigners (not true), or b) doesn't apply to those working in the US on a Work Visa (unsure of, but almost certainly not true).
Morgan has nothing to worry about.
Double edit: Reading some point earlier in the thread, you seem to believe that Constitutional rights don't apply to foreigners, which is actually not the case. Everyone, while on US soil, theoretically enjoys the same freedom of speech. I won't get into the fact that our government is corrupt and doesn't follow its own laws, but there you go.
