Lilith, nobody has an issue with the games you like, you're free to love the games you love, nobody is holding that against you.
It's the way you present your opinion that others have a problem with.
'Have any of you guys heard of Tohou? I love it, and I'd like to share it with you.' is a lot more friendly than:
'I love Touhou, and anyone who doesn't obviously has terrible taste.'
I might not agree with the way you present those views, but it would still be a shame to see you go.

90% or more of those games you listed are Japanese.
Now, before you (or someone else) tear me apart, I'm not hating on Japanese games. It's just that this forum tends to lean to the west. So, given your preferences and manner, disagreements were bound to occur.
As for other forums... no idea. This is the only one I post on with any frequency.

I would have recommended the GameFAQs boards since they have a big community like the Escapist but...
1. Some boards are flat out dead
2. The mods are retards sometimes. I have stories.
3. Some of the community there is filled with retards and trolls. Case in point, The Halo 4 board. (*WAHHHH* Call of Duty!!! *WAAHHHH*)

Don't go, if you like it here then don't go BUT don't go around and change your tastes in games because you think you don't fit in. It makes you stand out of the whole bunch and besides, im pretty sure that a lot of people here don't like Jrpgs or Nintendo games just because Yathzee hates them and they consider him some kind of god and are willing to agree to anything he says.

I know it's been said before, but you're not notorious, The Escapist doesn't hate you, yes you are being melodramatic, stick with threads that are about the stuff you like and you'd probably be better off just staying here.
I just love how only one, maybe two people here have actually responded to the OP, though I do think it's a bit strange and provoking to ask the community that you're leaving to recommend you a new community. Who am I to judge others though, people can be a bit (or alot) cutthroat around here, and from what I've seen, which isn't much, there are very few threads that are centered around gushing about a specific show or topic, that are well received, so I can understand that this isn't the place for everybody. /lecture-rant
Anyways, one online community that I like is Vizzed(dot)com. It is a site with tons of retro games up to the GBA and Nintento 64 that can be accessed via the website. Has a nice group of forums as well. The people there are generally pretty nice, and I rarely, if at all, see idiotic fanboys/girls there with ridiculous opinions and such. Forum also had a no swearing rule, which in a way, I kind of like, because it requires you to put a bit more thought into your posts, and you won't see any mindless cursing matches on threads to see whose the more mature 12 year old boy. It is somewhat of a Christian site though, just putting that out there. But if you're not into that, it's really only confined to discussion in one of the many forums on the site, and sometimes you'll see ads for bibles games via ad banners. They don't have the latest threads feed like they do here, so you may have to search a bit or make your own thread, and people might not respond as quickly as you like, but all in all, it is a pretty good community. Also has multiple chatrooms so even if you aren't in the forums, you can still talk to people. And of course, the thousands of games is a nice bonus.

reddit.com! After making your account, unsubscribe from r/gaming(that subreddit is so terrible and makes me rage everytime someone recommends it) and subscribe to r/truegaming and r/gamernews. Then look up subreddits based on your favorite franchises. Also, get the Reddit Enhancement Suite. It's in the r/enhancement subreddit.

Just stop being so abrasive. Understand that people don't necessarily have the same taste in games you have, don't take it as a personal attack and don't lash out at people who don't share your opinion. Threads like this don't help.

EDIT: Just looking at that list of games I think your tastes fit in here more than you think. There's loads of games on there that I and many others love.
