The first three movies were my favorites (The Fourth and Deoxys ones are close behind)
And i loved that show when I was little.
Goddamn. he was pretty damn successful all things considered.
Just not much else to say.

This is the man that taught us as young children that we can do just about anything we set our minds to. Directly because of his writing, we learned that we must have hope for the future and believe in and trust each other. He gave us the original drive to fight for and defend our dreams and aspirations in life. Whether or not we hung on to that sentiment later on is irrelevant.

To the man that inspired a generation,
RIP Takeshi Shudo

"Takeshi Shudō (Japanese: 首藤剛志) was the chief writer for the original series of the Pokémon anime, as well as being the sole writer for the first three Pokémon movies and the Mewtwo Returns TV special. He also wrote several novelizations of the anime.

Shudō is perhaps best known as the creator of the classic manga and anime series, Magical Princess Minky Momo. His other credits include Martian Successor Nadesico and Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

He was hospitalized on October 28th, 2010 when he was found collapsed at a train station in Nara. He was later pronounced dead at the age of 61.
"

He wrote the original pokemon series and first 3 movies?

Dammit! There goes my entire childhood!

The first 3 are good, really good.

Now...Now its down hill : (

I'll remember your work...I'll remember the originals...very close to my heart.

I do too...it's also..just kinda sad memories of that as well....

Still, Remember this man fondly, the original pokemon series was good, when they started the 4th series of pokemon, it really did go down hill...well you'd only notice it in the 4th, but in the 3rd were the signs of it failing to uphold the originality.

This sucks.
May this great man who shaped a fair amount of my childhood and therefore some of who I am today rest in peace.
