Pokemon romance novels, a tale of star crossed lovers amies...

It's true, everyone does seem to have Pokemon knicknacks in their cupboards... I can't stop checking them for loot though.
I can't help but be reminded of this article... [http://www.cracked.com/blog/3-books-from-dinosaur-eroticas-most-prolific-author/] Only with Pokemon, naturally...

Because you might kill it? I mean think about what type your using the amount of power needed to power said home. The teacher in question could easily spin this into a question. How much power do you need to keep your electricity going? What kind of Electric Poke'mon are you using? What is it's limit? Questions like that.
Even if it would not kill the Pokemon, it would need to eat to produce energy, so it might not be practical.
There are also other possible problems, like how the output of an organic creature might have power-spikes or something.

I remember in the anime the Pokecenter used Pikachus as an emergency power supply, though. It was clear it was a short-term thing.

That's something I always remembered wondering about with my brief (gen 1-3) experience with Pokémon....

"Why the fuck is EVERYTHING in this world based around these little buggers?!"
That's actually not a bad question. I mean, I get that it's a big deal in that world, and as such, different companies using these amazing creatures for different reasons and products. That is understandable. What isn't however, is what if somebody just wants a good mystery story or fantasy/adventure story in this world? Would they look at him like he was crazy? I like Poke'mon, sure, but there's a limit.
And not just books and movies, but everything in the world.

You walk into a town and say

"Where's the grocery store?"
"What are you talking about? The PokeMart? Well it's right over there."
"No, I don't have a Pokémon, I just want to pick up some groceries...you know...for myself."
"Kid, you're talkin' crazy talk."

I understood the pokemon craze.... WHEN I WAS 14 AND RED AND BLUE HAD JUST COME OUT! I was a serious pokemaniac then, I could recite the poke-rap and all that, but when they added 100 more I called it quits because I already had all 151, I won pokemon and they can't take that from me if I don't play their new shit :p

It was a fun RPG but they kept taking it kiddier and kiddier, that may sound weird considering its a kids series, but the originals had a lot of violence and angry pokemon. There was also alot of "mature content"(no, not sex you perv), I remember the original description for parasec having to do with the fungus eating into its hosts brain and hijacking its body.... that's pretty creepy for a kids game.

I was reminded of this.

I hope I'm pretty far off base but that's what it reminded me of.
