Oh for fuck sake. Who cares who he stole from. He stole. He was caught, his sentence will be appropriate for the crime committed. Also the inmates may not like him, but all he did was steal shit: he won't register on their radar.

Aside from that, the absolute inability of the human race to forgive transgression will ensure his life will be more miserable than any prison stay.

First, it's good to see a fellow Pratchett fan.

Second, I agree that this man should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Stealing from termally ill kids is probably one of the lowest things I can think of.
