this brings back memories of a friend who recently passed from Leukemia (or however you spell that)
for those who dont know, Leukemia causes people to lower their deffenses, to the point that what kills them is more often than not a flu, than the Leukemia itself
like a month before she was diagnosed, i showed her Little Big Planet, and she enjoyed it, she had never played a single game before, that was the first game she ever touched, and she loved it to bits
she was diagnosed, and we all were bummed, when she stopped to go out because of the dangers of infection, i went to her house, installed a Plasma tv (mind you, they didnt had that much money, so they just had old TV´s) and placed the PS3 right in her room
we played for a little while and i left, of course i left the PS3 in her room with the TV
i still remember the day she passed after a year of struggle with the desease, i went to her house to pick up my stuff, the most sad immage i could see, a puff chair with her slim shape still imprinted in it and the controller left lying next to it, the disc still inside the PS3, i started crying, how many days she spent sitting there playing to pass the time??, to forget she was sick?, to find some joy in the prision that had become her home??
anywhay, i picked up my stuff and left, i didnt dared to touch the PS3 for halve a year, (this happened 2 years ago), when i did, i decided to finish her Little Big Planet game, to get all the stuff she missed, i didnt knew why, i just wanted to.
i finished the game, and immediatelly i felt better... how weird, when i played i felt as if she was right next to me telling me "JUMP OVER THAT!!!, WHAT IS THAT??" so on so forth, i never changed the sack boy appearance (tutu with a tv on its head and stuff like that, she found it funny and cute), I will never delete her save files...
damn...
really out of topic aint it?? well, i just remembered and wanted to share.
also, harsh punishments and over the top torture practices for that man are to be put, just to stay on topic.
