Wow. I freely admit that I'm quite a nerdy guy- I know more than I'm comfortable admitting to most people about Star Wars, classic sci-fi literature, the Elder Scrolls and Pokemon. My bathrobe has the Imperial Crest on it and I have a plastic lightsaber.

But jesus fucking christ, this is taking it to a new level. I mean, beyond D&D levels of nerdiness. The guy they wanted an autograph from wasn't even a major character! And from 20 year old episodes. I guess the only question that remains is: Can we see the CCTV footage?

I'm picturing a mass of cosplayers (of all shapes, sizes, and costume qualities). Some are dressed as the Doctor, pointing their sonic screwdrivers and going "wirwirwirwirwirwir", while the rest are Darth Vaders standing opposite them a few meters away, doing the force choke motion while mimicking the rough breathing sound effect.... for a measurable and uncomfortable duration of time. This image is accompanied by complete silence.

The "altercation" occurs when a rogue Vader runs across the gap and the first lightsaber is swung. The silence is broken by the "paff" of a hollow plastic tube striking a dapper hairdo.
