It's stories like this that make me glad I don't have to give a crap about what anyone thinks of my gaming, huzzah! Being single rocks.

More like Mario Bro's b4 hoes...haHA....

OT: sounds like an excuse to me.....also if they don't understand why you like playing games you shouldn't be dating them in the first place...

See this is why I like going out with girls who play games. Unfortunately though all the hot ones already have respective partners who ironically don't play too many games. Strange world.

This is why I made a big point of making this clear to my gf - video games are my thing - and I will not appreciate being forced to stop.

Get the girl to play Planets vs Zombies. Never fails to work. Easy to pick up, check. Cute, check. Addictive, check. The only problem is that suddenly you're the one sitting out.

Statistics say alot of things. This is more or less just a cover up when they can't think of a real reason. Granted, some times the reason is legitimate when they actually do have an addicted boyfriend but more often than not it's just some snooty *****'s excuse to dump you when you're not pandering to her every two seconds.

Blah, I haven't ever dated but I can just say even without video games I like to do a lot of things by myself such as reading books or whatever... Heck, I'm probably even ruder to other people when I read a book than playing a video game because I need more quiet to concentrate. The more I read about this stuff online the more happy I haven't dated any female homo sapiens.

Another thing I read someplace is that women are a better at multitasking then men are (i have no idea if it was about a formal study or just anecdotal evidence... but of course, most of the things I read about multitasking seems like people generally can't do it well at all... but ignore it for the stupid joke coming). If this is the case, then maybe a lot of problems in a relationship between the sexes could be the simple fact that women may not realize us men are stupid single minded creatures. =) (joking)

Well, this dosnt tell me much. Are the girls mad that they play too much, or are they mad because the guys pay more attention the games then the girls.

Haha my ex fiance claimed this was a big reason for her leaving me, despite the fact that I stopped playing practically all video games unles she wasn't home. It's funny how easily women will turn to something they don't understand or enjoy, such as video games, and use it as a basis to start drama. Thank God I have a girl now that plays them just as much... and is smokin hot at the same time. Very rare thing, indeed.

99% of males won't date a gamer girl...and that poll was done by PWWFS.

Well. he's in the 1% then. But then he knew I was a gamer girl-also into Star Wars, paintball, hockey and the NFL big time. :D

I did get nagged at once for it. Then I disabled the messenger feature on my xbox and all was well.

I'll just let them assume I'm offline... I'd rather not have my girly friends gawking at my nerdy habits, thankyou very much. Only once the paranoia is removed can I enjoy myself!

Bottom line is all women are attention whores.

Doesn't matter what you're into. Cars, sports, poker, videogames, D&D, fishing, shooting, hunting, music, biking, golf, bowling, etc.

All men have things they like to do that they are passionate about, or that they merely like because it gets them away from their wives/girlfriends for a time. Women have always campaigned to end these activities or, failing that, insinuate themselves into them.

As always, there's a balance. Everyone has their own story. There is one girl I know and we used to date so I can attest that she is a pretty cool chick (too good for me!) She was dating a guy and told me that when she dressed in lingerie and tried to entice him away from WoW and failed, that was the last straw and she dumped him. Now, there were other extenuating circumstances that lead up to this point besides videogames; WoW was just the final nail in the coffin.

Funny thing is, quite a few girls spend just as much time surfing facebook.....
Guilty as charged but if I had to pick one hour of Facebook vs one hour of Left for Dead, LFD is gonna win hands down

Well of course women think men spend too much time on the internet, because any time on the internet is time not spent with them. If you spend more than one second doing thing not involving them they get pissed.
