I use whichever one I happen to be given. I can read them both easily. Right now, my computer time is set to 24h, but I think my phone/clock etc. isn't.

I think, when time is written of displayed, 24-hour is generally better (no confusion with AM-PM, I myself have that sometimes). But it sounds kinda silly when you say something like "o-six-hundred" while you just mean it's too early to open your eyes yet. 12-hour sounds a bit better then.

Or you could just say it's 6 in the morning/evening. Everyone gets that.

12 Hour is the only one that makes sense to me. I'd only use the 24 if I had to, for some profession.

12 hour is easier for me, since I grew up with it.

Though since 24 hour is becoming more common I'm getting better at using it (It helps that the army and the marines use it and they teach me things quite alot in my college course... Also my teachers are ex-military so they also use it. My computer also uses it)

Whilst i recognize both formats (24hr also referred to as Military or Zulu Time) i've not fully gotten used to reading and vocalizing the 24 clock format.
For the record, Zulu time is Greenwich Mean Time.

OT: I use 24hr time because it was what I've always used. Feels weird to use 12hr time.

12h, 24h is confusing to me for example: people rarely say "I,ll see you at the bar at 13 hours" they always say "I,ll see you at the bar 1 hour this afternoon" in other words 24h clocks are pretty much useless

12h. I grew up with it, and because of certain problems I have, 24h time was so damned difficult to understand I tried to avoid it. I get it now, and I do feel kinda badass on the rare occasions I use it verbally, but yeah, 12h for me.

24 h. Mostly because I grew up with it. I sometimes have to think wheter 1 PM is in the afternoon or at night. While I know immedietly that 13.00 = 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

2:1 for 24hr, excellent. It's military protocol, eg. pronounced "thirteen hundred hours" "o-nine hundred hours". I use it on my watch, computers, forums when possible, ect I can't 'quantifiably' justify that it's better, but I do prefer it.

In conversations I use 12hr format, but in everything else it's 24hr. I prefer using 24hr since it's more practical.

I much prefer 12 hour time. For some 24 hour times, I still have to count a little. I don't get AM or PM mixed up at all and it should be quite clear if you specify AM or PM.

You do know that 0700 is not 24hr time but Army time?

Most sane people that use 24hr would still call 7:00 for seven o'clock, incidently most of us also cal 19:00 for seven o'clock.

But writing 7:00 and 19:00 remove any confusion.

I personally hate the 12hr because I can never remember which is what of am and pm...
