I honestly liked 28 Weeks later. It was more interesting for me to see how the rest of the world would have handled something like that. And being an American I assumed the first thing we would do is try and help

I really enjoyed "Weeks" a lot more... but that's not the popular opinion apparetly

People seem to think as a bastardized action wannabe-film that lives on the blood of the first one... but I just think it was the logical next step in the story, and it was very well done.

The premise may have felt like a logical step but the movie kept making unrealistic exceptions to advance the plot to where there would be another outbreak. For example, the soldiers let the kids run around the city for a couple hours before finally finding them even though they knew they had left, in a realistic quarantine for a virus as hardcore as that they would have shot anybody that left the area on sight, they decided it was a good idea to leave the last carrier of the rage virus on the island not only alive but totally unguarded even though the two fucking retarded harmless children that ran away had a soldier guarding them, and to top it all off they decided it would be a way better idea to crowd everybody on the island into a room that was about to have the one infected guy charge into it instead of hunting down the one infected guy and killing him. These are all the reasons I couldn't even finish it.
