I was going to say pie (mmmmm pie....) but I would suggest Heavy rain, but thats only because i'm gonna buy it when it lowers in price. It might be a good idea to borrow the games or rent them before you make a decision.

Are you seriously trying to make me decide between BioShock (one of my top five favorite games of all time), BioShock 2 (which looks absolutely awesome), and Heavy Rain (which again, looks awesome)?

If I tried to do that, my head would explode.

Heavy Rain sounds like the best option from those. In my opinion

Buy pies!

Would've said pies but I saw no mention of Mass Effect 2 in your post. So then I gotta say Save some more money and get pies (glorious, glorious pies!!!) and Mass Effect 2.

dont' bother with Heavy Rain. And if you ever end up ever getting it, get it used. It's not worth playing a movie for $60 when movies come out for $20.

Bioshock was fun, imo, and it had a good story(even though my game foruming and my own friends ruined the major twist... damn you!)

Heavy Rain. It's going to be the most original game of the year.
Originality doesn't make a good game.

Mass Effect 2, now!
Umm...Have you seen Heavy Rain?
*Watches trailer*

Christ, that was awful. She better not be in the game with that awful voice. Maybe there's one that isn't mind-crunchingly boring.

*watches another trailer*

No, it's still not doing it for me. That music was plain awful, especially for that trailer, and serious uncanny valley issues. Maybe it was just an awful trailer. Good graphics though. It looks like I would like it as much as Indigo Prophecy, even though it wasn't that good anyway. In fact, it looks like Indigo Prophecy. Why don't they try another idea?

I've seen Bioshock here brand new for A$20 (which is about 11 of your pounds) so I presume you could get it for a similar price where you are. I'd recommend playing it first, then while you finish it get another £11 pounds and go buy Bioshock 2. Or rent the first one and knock it over on a weekend, then buy the sequel.

LOL. Irony is hilarious (am I using "irony" correctly?).
It's much more likely that we'd get a Halo, Uncharted, Bioshock, or InFamous movie than we are of getting a Heavy Rain movie.

My vote goes to Heavy Rain. Original and well executed, a very rare find. However, like all original games, the gameplay can be a turn off. A bit of a risky choice. I really like the gameplay design though; a style of QTE that actually forces you to think before you act. An emotionally engaging game is a nice change of pace.

Seriously, how can you not see how much of a revolution this game is?!

I hesitate to call the mechanics of Heavy Rain "a series of QTEs", because you have the choice of not doing them (and apparently sometimes it's better not to do them).

... um, maybe not the name... but we've already had each of those games in a film of some sort, or at least common themes that are basically it.

But that's what I mean, why put up a ton of money on a gamble?

Oh, OK. There aren't any button-matching sequences. The games are not the same at all. I was told to watch a trailer and both were horrible, in my opinion.
