None of those games interest me in the least. The only Nintendo exclusive I'm even remotely interested in is the next Smash Bros game, and after buying a Wii for Brawl, I'm certainly not buying the Wii U for Smash Bros. Nintendo still needs to prove to me that they can garner serious 3rd party support (from real gamer games, like Call of Duty and Street Fighter) and need to prove that their online service is worth using. Friend codes was an awful abomination and I sincerely hope whoever designed it is jobless and in agony in a ditch somewhere.

What big reveal? It's the same lineup of remakes, reboots, rehashes and ressurections as it always is. Nintendo are not even pretending to innovate anymore.
Hahahahahahahahahaha... Oh wait, you're actually serious? Allow me to laugh even harder!
Firstly, who the
fuck are
you to dictate who is a "real gamer". Games are games are games. Just because YOU don't play them, does not make them any less of a "game" to someone else. Get your head out of your arse, MetallicaRulez0..
Now, as for you, ResonanceSD. I haven't stopped laughing. I'm going to assume you think Microsoft or Sony
are innovating? OH WAIT.
Almost everything that comes from them is a cover-based shooter or a shooter in a guise of an RPG. EHRMERGERD SO INNOVATIVE.
When the Wii introduced motion controls, both Sony and Microsoft scrambled to catch up to them. Sure, Nintendo didn't have HD gaming until the Wii U (really their only setback), but y'know what, they didn't have to. Because graphics are NOT everything. Oh, and "same lineup of remakes, reboots, rehashes and resurrections", huh? Y... You've chosen to ignore the recent ONLY RESURRECTIONS of games for 360 and PS3, right? This console generation has been going on for *seven years*. It's the longest one by far. IPs are all drying up and developers/publishers are just milking them for all they're worth. Tomb Raider, a "new" Halo trilogy, more Mass Effect, more Gears of War, more sequels with 3 or 4 in the title. And by that, I do mean sequels. You can't use the Final Fantasy argument of "but there are FOURTEEN of them!".. They aren't sequels of each other. X-2, XII: Revenant Wings and XIII-2 are "true" sequels. In fact, XIII-2 is more of a spin-off as well, because it contradicts XIII and makes its own existing lore, which bleeds into LR:FFXIII. The other numbered games in that series are made by (quite often) entirely different teams of people. Hell, VIII and IX were being developed
at the exact same time by completely different teams in Squaresoft. They're not one big giant studio, that's not how they work. You know that, right?
Anyway, whatever, I digressed. Fact is, you're pretending that Nintendo are the only ones not innovating. You're lying to yourself.

MORE ON TOPIC: Yes. Yes I will be buying a Wii U, especially since the Nintendo Direct. My 3DS is already getting a ton of attention lately, my Xbox 360 250GB Slim has been almost entirely replaced by my recent PS3 500GB superslim. I couldn't give a shit about Microsoft's ONE first-party title (Gears of War: Judgment LOL) and literally no other new games apart from "sequels and reboots" that I can also get for PC or PS3, so... Yeah. Here, EBGames! You give me a brand new Wii U and you can have my limited edition Halo: Reach Xbox 360 console and six games I barely ever play on it anymore, I'll get PS3 versions of whatever isn't exclusive.

(which, by the way, is 3 out of the 6. I haven't played Halo: Anniversary, Halo: Reach or Gears of War 3 in
months. I can easily get Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations on PS3~)
