Okay, okay, I guess I'll throw in my opinion on the whole "Alliance vs. Horde" thing. I play Alliance, simply because every jackass and a very few otherwise reasonable people I've ever listened to online say Horde.
Supposedly, the Horde has the more honorable characters, the more interesting story, the better PvPers, the more noble and helpful players, the best gear, the best raiders, the best baseball teams, the favor of Jeebus H. Buddha III himself, etc. These same people describe the Alliance as an open cesspit, infested with the dregs of humanity, whose pitiable ignorance of their lot in life is matched only by their unrelenting asshattery and noobishness.
These people, needless to say, can go jump in a lake. There is no huge difference inherent in the factions, and the only real social factor isn't determined by faction, but by server. RP servers forever, incidentally.
