see, i keep hearing that, but, i was having these dreams ever since i watched the original, Night Of the Living Dead, and that was 10 years ago!! before zombies had recognition, im starting to think im obsessed

Obsession is different than being insane. Obsession means that you just can't get enough of what your consuming as a media-goer. Insane means that your brain isn't in the right place. Or, at least, the rest of the world views your brain as being in the wrong place.

Last few dreams I had before I stopped dreaming (that were not fucked up on a Freudian level) were all apocalyptic.
Everyone has apocalyptic dreams. Side effect of so much apocalyptic stories in media.

Ok, so, ive been having a lot, and i mean "A LOT" of zombie dreams and it is really starting to worry me. ive came to the conclusion that either im having premenitions, i just have a lot of great movie ideas, or im completely fucking insane. My question to every one is, have any of you had a problem similar to mine, and if so, how did you solve it.

When I first started playing l4d I used to constantly dream about zombies... Hell, every time I closed my eye I saw zombies! It's normal to dream about something you spend alot of tome doing; don't like it then just do it less

No you're not, I dreamed I was captured by a pedophile and he sent me into the movie the cube, I escaped and him and I had an awesome fight in the rain until I hit out his two front teeth with my knee than i shot him in the face. This doesn't mean I'm insane, I may be fucked up in the head, but not insane.

You probably just have a good imagination, or maybe you have recently played Black Ops Zombies or something related like watching a Zombie movie or game. Perhaps you're reading a dark book and it lays dormant in your sub-conscious until you sleep.

I once had a zombie dream where my dad had become a zombie and i beat him to death with a frying pan, and killed pretty much all my class mates and friends (also zombies) with a chainsaw. So no, ur not crazy.

yes, but i shouldnt be having appocalyptic dreams EVERY night, oh, an you havent stoped dreaming, you just dont remember them, as ive came to grips with the fact that all dreams are just a destorted version of reality through your own eyes, then again, i could be watching to much of the walking dead

see, the fcked up part about it is, i have pretty much the same dream, but with diffrent parts added on. its like i cant escape the reality of it, every time i wake up, i remeber every thing that happened, and i usually lay in bed until i have comfrimation that a brain hungry cannibal wont bust down my door. the even scarier part is, every time i have these dreams, i become even mre paronoid, well i mean, i end up laying in bed even longer thinking and waiting of the inevitable groaning sound and yet again anther crazy being trying to break in. its really starting to worry me.

You're worried about zombie dreams? Man, I must be really brain-fucked then. I mean, I have lots (and I also mean LOTS) of dreams in which I'm some sort of evil overlord that sets off to destroy the world with powers from Hell. I even dreamt I was or had become Satan at least twice.

My opinion as a student of Psichology, zombies are related to an aspect of your life you inconciously feel that should be brought to attention... or something like that.

I have played and watched plenty of zombie games/movies yet i've never had a dream about them.
