Not coming to PC, so I'm not interested in it.

Also the more I look at it, the more I dismiss it as yet another overhyped shooter like Titanfall.

Oh, what's that? Destiny? Sorry, I was busy being hyped for something a bit different.
Haha, nice. Bayonetta 2 is BY FAR my most anticipated game of 2014 and I don't even have WiiU, but I'll have to get one at some point. Bayonetta was my favorite game of last gen and I wasn't even much into the genre before playing it. I just loved the dodge offset mechanic. I'm really shocked other hack and slash games haven't incorporated the mechanic into their games, it's just so great not having to restart combos, even a block offset would work.
I bought a Wii U and a new TV primarily for Bayonettta 2, so you could say I'm pretty dedicated fucking insane. Bayonetta is my favorite last gen game as well. Hell, it's one of my favorite games of all time. Never played a game that got the adrenaline pumping more than that and I probably never will (until Bayonetta 2 comes out anyway).

I've got to say I caved in and bought it, mainly because I have no games to play at the moment for my PS4, and my rig is dead (RIP).

First impressions are positive, I played the first couple of missions solo and it was a solid game. Then I partied up with a couple of other guys and have been playing through the story missions and it has made the game so much better.

I'm currently 3 hours in and level 8 out of a maximum of 20 so leveling goes pretty quick, it seems like the story missions are just a tutorial and the game is trying to get players quickly to 'end game content'. This isn't to say that the story missions are easy, it does start to get pretty challenging and boss fights require teamwork to get through.

I think this game will live or die based on its end game, so it will be interesting to see how that goes when I get there. If the end game content is shit and the leveling is as fun as it has been, I will still have gotten my money's worth from the game.

Nope, no PC version, so I don't give a shit.

The irony is, I might actually buy it, as it looks pretty cool and I've been mostly FPS-free for years (with the occasional exception like the latest Wolfenstein). Add to it the fact that I never got into any of the major coop FPS games (L4D is cute, but zombies are boring) and I'm pretty much virgin territory for the game. But nooo, no PC version, maybe in a year or two when they decide they need more money.

I bought it yesterday and I am blown away in all honestly. From a design standpoint its great to look at and play. Like all bungie games its incredibly polished and clean, at least so far. The main reason I enjoy it is because bungie knows what makes the shooting experience different from game to game and that is the enemies.

Don't understand all of the negativity and meh behind it. Its a fun games that plays well and has genuine effort put into the design of it. Playing with friends is an absolute blast and thats what matters.

Oh well, back to Destiny.
