Haven't played it, but isn't 'darkspawn' the bad guys?

The Maker is the god figure in Dragon Age: Origins. When mages in the Tevinter(sp) Empire became too powerful and attempted to storm his celestial palace (which for some reason was in the fade) he created the Darkspawn as punishment. Also, all the Archdemons or dragons are supposedly "Old Gods" worshiped before The Maker was widely worshiped. And apparently, if everyone in the world worships The Maker, he'll make the world a paradise.

Wasn't he also in Mass Effect? When you rescue the female scientist and her delirious co-worker, she say "Humans! Thank the Maker!" Also, that blue chick who pissed me off would mention "the Goddess", which made it impossible for me to unsee that she's actually a Warcraft Night Elf.

Theres one hole in your statement, Cthulhu doesnt have just a cult, it has a full on religon with WAY too many people to be jsut a measly cult. And im just trying to spread the word around about the guy, i mean im saving lives, if you don't worship him he kills you.
