Was Yandere, evolved to Tsundere.
So what comes next, deredere?

This is probably why my favorite anime character is Asuka from Eva.

No. I'm just a nice guy. Hugs for all!

Though I disagree that it's a term synonymous with Bi-polar. Bi-Polar expresses itself generally in long periods of elation and depression usually lasting at least a few days. Tsundere would be more closely linked to a personality disorder with rapid mood swings generally lasting short periods of time usually less than a day. My ex would be a Tsundere, but she was diagnosed with a personality disorder which wasn't fun.

I-i-i-it's not like I took your poll cause you wanted me to! I just took it cause I have the spare time.

OT: What kind of tsundere are we talking about? The original meaning which was more about characters who were hard to get close to but then eventually opened up (Essentially a personality change) or the bi-polar tsundere we see in anime today where they act like raging lunatics one moment and love struck high school girls the next?

I don't think so. I am generally a nice guy to everyone. I just don't like socializing with people I don't know as I feel extremely awkward.

EDIT: Also "I-it's not like I wanted to post something on the escapist or anything. B-baka!"

Am I tsundere?

...Is that a serious question?
It has to be. ^See they made a poll and everything.

OT: Can't say I am a Tsundere.

Anime terms, for when the English language just isn't good enough! I'm pretty sure there's an actual accessible English word for that which doesn't require reading an entire article for us non-weeaboos to understand.

I am a nice goddamn person, though.

A very minor one. In the sense that I constantly scowl and look straight ahead as my modus operandum (it's not operandi is it? I don't know f***ing Latin...), and don't engage easily, but really, I hardly ever do anything cruel to people I know.

(Although I have this one friend who constantly posts those terrible Facebook statuses that you just have to ruin, but that's a service to society).

Few people actually are. It's an annoying character feature since it's used so often in anime, and yet is found so rarely in real life.

I'm not familiar with anime because I don't like it, but looking "Tsundere" up in Tv tropes and the person informing me of what it is condecends me for doing so? man, talk about being disrespectful to someone who wants to learn more about sayings and tropes =/
But yeah, on the OT: no
Uhm, I think you missed the point of the opening sentence. It's demonstrating the term straight off the bat, y'know, for comedy. It's not actually an attempt to patronise you. You only need to click the link under 'demonstrate' for that to be explained.
Sorry, I was tired and it sort of jumped out at me, lol.
But yeah, terms n shit, not my strongest side, but after reading what it was I think I fall on the side of "no"

I often find such people to be a little intimidating, a friend of mine is a really great guy but can be harsh as hell and flip on a dime between friendly and venomous.
I think a better description would be either bi-polar or extreme insecurity.

No, though I can see why you'd make that mistake. The whole "nice" part is just an act to make it hurt more when I say cruel stuff. Truth is, I'm just a plain and simple bastard.
