I would give up sex, alcohol and all food except dry bread for a year if I had to in order to get Skyrim.

I'm sure it won't be perfect. I'm sure it will have niggles. But I'm totally confident it's gonna be good. The only thing that could really be a let-down for me is if they haven't got rid of the stupid enemies-level-up-with-you nonsense.

Probably for Christmas due to lack of money, but yes, I WANT THAT SHIT.
This is coming from one of 6 people worldwide who hated Oblivion.

Skyrim + Battlefield 3 + Saints Row 3 + Gears 3 = Bankrupt, but happy.

I'll probably wait until I can get GOTY for less than $30 and have a nice computer to play it on so I can mod it up and make it all pretty. So probably in a few years.

I personally am not reserving skyrim. I bought oblivion because of all the hype almost five years and i regret it to this day. i found the combat and all around gameplay dull and unenjoyable which for me is the key part of a game. It had left with bad feelings about rpgs until the release of Fallout 3 restored my faith in rpgs. I personally hope skyrim ends up the most amazing game ever made and is wildly successful. I just do not feel like making a decision just yet on purchasing it.

I respect you decision, whatever personally I'm going to love this game, but I think that your logic is flawed. You say that there aren't enough changes but if they changed the game any more with this sequel, in good or bad ways, well... Well it wouldn't be an Elder Scrolls game that's for sure, it'd be along the lines of Far Cry 2 being considered a legitimate story driven sequel to the first Far Cry. You can do whatever you want, just don't base your actions on silly notions.

Sorry, I suppose I should have been more specific. I didn't mean change it to where it wasn't a Elder scolls game. I mean adding things to it to make it not the exact same game as oblivion. I wanted like more races, or like a sepreate co-op things, something that isn't the same as the last game. I really dont' care about graphics or different facail features, or whatever "slight" changes that are made. I want something that is a big enough change to make it worth the money.

Like the real only change in Dead Rising 2 was the combonation weapons, and while it was cool, I haderly used most of them and it didn't really change the game any. So I'm really glad I didn't pay 60 bucks for it. That's kinda what I meant.
