Poll: Are you Horde or Alliance

Was Horde when I played. Had Alliance characters to play with some friends, but I was always much happier to log back on my Tauren.
I don't mean to start a war or anything, but I always though it was reversed, heh.Merkavar said:

EDIT: If there's one thing i truly hate, it's people who say that the Horde/Alliance is full of kids, it's just fanwanking that makes you sound like a complete dope. It's just as ridiculous Star Wars and Star Trek fans denouncing eachother.

Started off Alliance. Full of rude, crude, sexist jerks and naked toons miming sexual acts against one another. Rolled Horde. Less full of rude crude sexist jerks, and a little more discretion. (Hey, whisper! What a wonderful way to share PRIVATE RP).
I actually think there's more solidarity and connection Horde-side because Alliance folk? They just want to be heroes. They're a one-man army in their minds. Horde are the outcast 'monsters' who work together because the rest of the world refuses to accept them. They have to fight the REAL monsters and the people who'd label them as such. Stories are more compelling, players are more welcoming, cities are more badass. There's just no reason for me to go Alliance ever.
I did roll Worgen just to see what it was all about, and managed to get disgusted enough with the Ally players in the starting area to quit and go back to my undead priest. Lesson learned. Again.

only the more serious people that are into the game can look past the hunched over fat heads that populate the horde races and have fun with it.

I played a Forsaken, a Tauren and a Blood Elf...I only had one Alliance character, a Night Elf Druid for the sake of seeing Alliance areas without being murdered.

Vanilla WoW for 2 Years,horde,Tauren Warrior.
The Burning Crusade for 2 years I quit my Warrior and made a Night elf Warrior to play with some friends on alliance.
Wrath of the Lich King I faction'ed change back to Horde as an Orc Warrior and still play to this day.
So what it comes down to it is: FOR THE HORDE!

Honestly I never played Wow...
HOWEVER I did play WarCraft3 + FT and must say that Horde as a whole race collective was way more lolzy ("stop touching meeee!") as well as had depth in those "evil" Orcs, Trolls, Blood Elves etc. as oposite to self-righteus alliance.
Made me think differently of Orcs and such in fantasy.
So, based on this, if I were to play WoW i'd pick Troll

Alliance all the way for me. I probably would've gone Horde if I thought about it more when I started, though. Undercity's cool. Although I do have a realm full of hordies, just don't really play them.

The only time I ever tried alliance, I got lectured for about 20 minutes by two 12 year olds trying to explain to me how to play the game. Its not like that in itself is a problem, I like a community that helps each other, but I clearly explained to them that I knew how to play and these fuckers would not shut up. I started out Ally. Went Horde for Cata because I joined a buddys guild to raid on another server. Was there for 3 or so months than I just couldn't stand horde cause they only have 1 good race BE. So I went back Ally got into a kick ass raiding guild. Afew more months latter my comp here won't run WoW for 20 min before shutting off so I'm on hiatus or maybe I'll leave forever get out while I can.

Generally speaking, it's been my experience that the young kids who want to be pretty night elves usually go alliance. The more mature players tended to play on the horde side.

Unfortunately I chose Alliance because I was unaware that all the cool people went Horde. I just liked the Human starting quests more...Then I got to the highest level and realised all my teammates were usually kids with voices so high pitched my dog would go nuts.
Sadly I had no credit card and couldnt change race....Thus the end of my WoW adventures.
