I have this toy of Batman in a shining silver armour. Is this a fake Batman?
If not, what version of Batman is it and would he stand a chance against Iron Man?
EDIT: He also has a shield. Like a knight. (Probably had a sword too but I must have lost that part.)
Sounds like an "Else Worlds" Batman: a series that took familiar characters and placed them in alternate continuities.

He may have had a sword in Kingdom Come. I know Wonder Woman did and cut off part of his wing...hmmmmmmmm. He also had armor of a sort in Batman vs. Predator. It was good stuff. He took on Superman in a Bat-Ironman suit of armor in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns book 4. No sword.

None of these forms of armor appeared to be in the same league with Iron Man's. Heck, in the Dark Knight, it was only good enough to slow Supes down while Supes got hammered from numerous sides to try to keep Batman from getting killed (Supe's thinks, "Bruce this is silly, you're just meat and bone" then rips his metal cowl off Batman's head with one hand, just before breaking Batman's ribs with a single punch to Batman's armored mid-section)

That is from Kingdom Come, and he is holding a sort of Bat-Lance.
The way Ironman is handled, I think he is supposed to be in Superman's league.

Batman has defeated Superman, and pretty much the entire justice league at one point or another, not to mention his many enemies. Yeah some dude in a suit would be no match against his Crazy Prepared [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CrazyPrepared] power.

Edit: Lets look at it this way. Iron man was beaten to a pulp by Captain America in the end of the Civil War. He was done, suit dead, about to be killed by the Cap. All Captain A is is more or less just an enhanced human. So no Iron Man isn't as tough in a straight up brawl as people make him out to be, not that Batman would fight him like that, but just saying. If Captain A can punch him and BREAK OFF PIECES OF HIS SUIT, then no Iron Man CAN NOT stand up to much punishment, at least not from other super heroes. I'd imagine Batman would have analyzed every aspect of his suit beforehand and already come up with several ways of defeating it before he ever steps into the ring.

Edit 2: I fully expect Iron Man to win the poll, because of the movies and the fact that most people don't follow comics anymore or at all.
Pretty spot on but I have to disagree a tiny bit as Batman isn't always prepared for everything..

Iron Man.

Not only in a Power Suit he is a genius that often has his best ideas when he is loosing.

Batman is also a genius but not in a power suit.

He may have a plan for taking IM's suit out but, IM would probably have a ton of backup plans.

He probably even has backup plans for things like California sinking onto the earth or the moon exploding.

Let me put this discussion another way:

Who would win, an amateur ninja, or Optimus Prime?

I hope you can see where I'm going with this.
You seem to be missing the part where Batman learned every form of martial arts in a year in the mountains. I do agree that Batman would be crushed by the power of Iron Man's suit, but in out-of-suit combat, I.E. Tony Stark Vs. Bruce Wayne, I believe Wayne would do some ass-kicking.

Oh, almost certainly. I think Batman may have a little bit of difficulty if Stark brings anything like a gun to the said, but in full on hand-to-hand, Wayne would crush his head like a grape.

Iron man is willing to kill his opponents. (In the movies)
Batman isn't. (In the movies) Except for killing Liam Neeson, for some reason that doesn't count to him.
Batman would end up getting thrashed.

Now Batman Beyond Vs Iron Man. That's a legitimate fight.
