It was a tie between between Soul Calibur and Super Smash Bros brawl, but I'm more fond of the smash bros series so I vote for that.

Super Smash Bros.! Definitely the best. No other fighting game is quite like it

If i remember correctly he also did a video on Soul Calibur And he didn't really warm to either! lol.

I have always loved Smash Bros., since the N64 version

LOL I've played Bros. maybe twice maybe three times in my life. I have Brawl for my Wii (of course) Both of them are addicting. But once I got W@W for my Wii I stopped playing brawl.

Soul Calibur or actually just Soul Calibur 4... mostly because my friends and I used to speed through as quick as possible to unlock all the customisation features then spend hours just editing each character to our liking. Plus I like Soul Calibur for giving me the option to play as this guy:

Instead of some big boobed bint or handsome genric tough man. I like them lizards

It pisses me off to an extent that Mortal Kombat is beating Virtua Fighter and KoF.

Tell me about it! If any of you think you are fighting game fans and haven't played any of the Virtua Fighters (you don't have to like them), you need to take a good hard look at yourselves.

Though I enjoy SSB for its ease of use/roster of great Nintendo characters and I also enjoyed MK Deadly Alliance thoroghly for its gore over the top moves and interesting battle system, and Tekken for providing me a place to completely own my older brother, I'd have to say my favorite would have to be Soul Calibur, particularly number two. I've not had that much fun with any other fighting game, though Smash Bros comes very, very, very close.

I have no idea why Mortal Kombat makes it onto this sort of poll at all. It has the trappings of a fighting game, but the soul of a simple beat'em up. Also, Guilty Gear should have its own slot on the list.

Super Smash Bros. IS a good game but it is not techincally a fighting game. Why it's categorized here I have no bloody idea because it features as much of a story as Soul Calibur, which is best to say, not much of one at all. I truthfully would prefer Dead or Alive, not for the girls with giant, jello breasts or the skimpily clad females, but for the actual fighting game mechanics. It's fast, fluid, and is close to perfect.
